1000% the building system is sooooooo good omg. I dug a secret cavesystem, that goes so deep that i had to place two additional flames and had to max them out. Still, i didnt reach the ground. And it looks so organic too omg, cant stop fangirling (could upload the cavesystem for showing the game mechanics, but its not finished though. A city down there is planned)

I downloaded Enshrouded this past Saturday and it absolutely devoured my weekend! There are elements of Valheim and V Rising, but Enshrouded does it better! I should've called out sick today, lol.

What settings on Deck? I can get 30fps most of the time but the graphics set to minimum with FSR3 scaling, it's "playable" at best but it's not a "great" experience

I have been waiting to buy this game for more than 1 year (I played the demo too) but 1st I gotta finish the Valheim (which hasn't happened yet) and get a better discount, but boy, building in this game is so beautiful and detailed, it gives LOTR vibes and I love living in that world :D after Subnautica, I played a few procedurally generated world survival games, and now I miss a survival game with a handcrafted and detailed map...

The problem with that kind of game and not having randomly generated maps is the replayability. You can't have a-basically- sandbox game, voxel-based base building and exploration without random generation maps. I dunno if they will add it in the future, but comming from games like NMS and 7 days to die it's a no for me at least for now.
@Nyxson4 күн бұрын
This game is not about replaying, it's about playing. The world is handcrafted and dense so you will not run out of things to do for quite a while. Also, not really a sandbox, you do have goals in the game. It has a lot of sandbox elements but it is a survival RPG in its nature. Also, you can't really compare game to other games and be mad that it's not like other games. This might not have things that you lime in other games, but it it has some things other games don't
@panagiotisgalinos13354 күн бұрын
@@Nyxson U got me wrong :P Im not mad at all in fact Objectively, I find it very interesting game and better than valheim. But - you know- its more about personal taste.
@Nyxson4 күн бұрын
@panagiotisgalinos1335 oh no 😊 I got that 😊 but can you really know the taste of something you haven't tasted? 😁Meaning Enshrouded of course
@panagiotisgalinos13354 күн бұрын
@@Nyxson Yeah, I got what you mean. At some point, you are right. If you don’t try something, you won’t know if you will like it. But in general, everyone has their taste in games. For example, I like space games like No Man's Sky (NMS), Elite Dangerous (ED), and X4, but I despise space games that have a narrative or linear questing system and do not give you the freedom to act on your own and make decisions. Also, I do not like space games-or games in general-that have a start and an ending, like a campaign system. To make it more understandable for you, imagine Path of Exile (PoE). PoE has acts where the purpose is to complete the main quest, learn the mechanics, and level up your character for the end-game content (maps). Now imagine if you only had the acts, completed the story, saw the credits, and... that's it. I don’t like that in games in general. I only play games that you can keep playing forever, like No Man's Sky, Elite Dangerous, Path of Exile, Cities: Skylines, American Truck Simulator, 7 Days to Die, etc. I mean this across all genres, not just survival games So, my problem with Enshrouded is that it doesn’t have something to keep you playing forever. Sure, you can spend 5,000 hours on this game, but even that comes to an end eventually. In contrast, in No Man's Sky (NMS) or Path of Exile (PoE), you can keep going forever.
