I think there should be a change in the arena, you know it's very hard to climb up, you win 2 fights in a row then 1 loss ruins everything because 1 loss can lose points as much as 2 wins in a row, it's not fair because winning 1 fight is hard but 1 loss really ruins everything, I hope they can change the point deduction in the arena

I would say yes. That is, if anyone played WoW before, E7 basically went past its Wrath of the Lich King phase and is now declining in popularity. As a guild leader since launch, I've noticed less and less guild applications each time we open spots (especially in 2024). This is due to less new players being retained while older players quit.

Feels like SG is phasing us into a managed decline state, cutting the CMs just tells me that they're no longer interested in feedback. 2024 had 1 colab, no reruns, broken arena system for 3 seasons now, busted RTA meta and 3d pick system, and crazy power creep, they're probably just going to milk what they can with OP units for another 2 or 3 years be4 EOS. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think they are going to be putting in any effort for E7 going forward. If this is true then I'll be avoiding SG games like the plague, feels really scummy.

no Even the biggest company has lay off like "Genshit" due to AI applications to systems, but the truth of bearish moment of e7 comes from Cheating Scandal from e7wc, that's biggest loss of faith there.

i think they're just realizing that they dont need CM's anymore.. 'cause honestly, they havent cared about our feedback for along time, because we're a bunch of whining, spoiled, confused, split-minded, greedy, immature, incohesive trolls on the internet.. literally never matters what they post on stove, literal 1st comment is someone blasting them for something they 'didnt do' and how 'terrible of a company' they are.. so why listen to it anymore? u can't please everyone all the time.. no matter what u do, someone will be mad about it.. so whats the point? at least they actually respected the community feedback when it mattered, during the "awakening" debacle that almost came to fruition.

they should completely overhaul the gear system, or just get rid of mola all together so it is easier for people to build units. One of my favorite parts of the game is building units and I end up having to wait months bc I don’t ever have enough mola’s. And sure they could give everyone more mola’s but its like 3 star units don’t even have mola required to upgrade their skills just caty’s which imo is a lot more manageable than having to wait months for enough mola’s. And my issue with gearing is, I grind out a crazy amount of mats to craft gear and I’ll end up wasting 10k plus mats for maybe 3-4 pieces of decent-good gear. And then those pieces could still roll bad. Those are my huge gripes about the game, I really do enjoy it though and have fun when I play it. It is just very stale right now and when we are in times like this it really does suck not having enough materials to really build every new and or cool unit that comes out

Just my opinion and personal reason behind quitting: I feel that they forgot the communities that helped put them on the map. For example, husbando collectors, femboy lovers, furries, etc. Any group that isn't directly chasing waifus. Most skins are also only geared towards the same audience (aka waifu collectors). I've seen time and time again mobile games that just slowly die because they simply just wanna do cash grab tactics instead of continuing to invest in expanding their community (hence the importance of collabs since that's the only time they do potentially tap into outside communities). Idk i personally quit the game because they obviously heavily cater towards one group instead of just making the game better and diversifying the collectable characters....

When the game became focused so hard on pvp, it started to get stale and power-crept like crazy. And having PvE that is very unfriendly to new players, it's no wonder that I'm constantly booting people from my guild for inactivity. Like 2-3 per week. Then I get new people, then rinse and repeat.

First this is all my opinion feel free to disagree idc really i think these types of games in general are starting to die off, With the high budget high quality gacha games that come out nowadays everyone has much higher standards an face it e7 is overshadowed in almost every way by these games. Unless you love the pvp wich the majority dont ever care for, Your not going to waste the limited amount of time you have in the day playing e7 when there are games like Wuthering Waves Zenless Zone Zero Honkai StarRail Arknights Endfield that have more engaging gameplay better qols an much better visuals. I dont think e7 is goin to die anytime soon but i think its def going to decline more an more till only the truly dedicated players are left keeping it alive.

sooo... it goes like maybe 2 months with 'little' content, and ppl think the game is dead.. We just got patch/balance update, new Senya + side story in AI format, 2 new ML's, Hwa/Adin + ML Peira and new soul weaver announced.. sure, it may not be super-ultra-mega game-breaking or revolutionary news, but its still stuff.. ppl think they're going to 'up and completely revamp major game-defining systems' like GvG or Arena or Abyss etc.. no.. I dont think the game is dying... cause the game is still making money for them. I think the game is just on auto-pilot for them. They're not going to announce EOS because all their whales would burn their company to the ground.. therefore, they're just going on auto-pilot, coasting on the "norm" of content release.. Is that the most super-exhilarating in terms of being a consumer / player? perhaps not... but, like all things gacha, it takes time for things to happen. New heroes dont come out every week.. sometimes u gotta wait months until another new hero announce/dropped.. same with content.. Rome wasnt built in a day. but just with that saying, dont expect them to up and re-develop E7 2.0 or something.. this games old and they're barely hanging on...

as long as ppl are spending money, currently, on new heroes dropping, ie. ML Hwa or ML Peira, they're not going to announce Actual EOS, and like terminate being able to play.. 'cause then players would demand refunds of units they just purchased... if they're still releasing heroes, the servers will still be up... they will just slowly, over time, whittle down to a drip-feed of content, until the most die-hard/try-hard uber whales dry up and lose interest.. and then, 2-3 years from that moment.. they Might announce it.. with another 2-3 years for ppl to "come to terms" with it.

After all this time there still isn't a game that compares to E7..... that's the thing that's most depressing. All mobile games die, but i was really hoping this game would set a new standard for animation and character storytelling in this type of game. Sadly nothing else compares and E7 isn't a good as it used to be. I feel this will be just like FFBE and it will die off and nothing else will be around to replace it. Sad days

I think the Damage has been done and there is no solution into it, UNLESS they made Marguerite PAY! and redo e7WC without Marguerite. because this is what players lost faith in EPIC 7. also WHY THERE IS NO COLLAB? MAGIA RECORD IS JUST WAITING right there.
