It’s never gonna be dead as long as it’s on games pass. Turn crossplay on or get it on games pass via pc or Xbox. Game feels built for that service.

All that game needed was better loot including armor pieces giving actual stats instead of cosmetics, and better endgame content. It had so much potential, the gameplay was superb

It’s a game where you’re really cool looking exosuits fighting hordes of dinosaurs. That’s it, what else can u ask for? As long as they keep adding content periodically I’ll enjoy this game especially with friends.

After putting a couple of hours, it’s kinda fun if you consider speedrunning fun. Matching is quick as of this post so probably could be based on where you live or platform (mine was ps5 and got matches within a min with different players every time so it’s not the same teams). The only issues I see is accessibility to purchase the game as it could’ve been been around $20-30 or F2P without a subscription and the game should’ve had more game modes available, luckly capcom is doing that but should’ve been there from the start. Here’s hoping they improve the game’s quality and marketing in the future

I remember playing this game when it first came out. it was quite buggy due to a bug where you'd get stuck on an objective cause the dinosaurs weren't spawning on an objective where you had to kill as certain amount as possible. the game is gorgeous though, with the fun playstyles that it had, and the dinosaur riding aspect was quite messy, but cool as a concept, but not in practice.

The alpha and beta exosuits are not "locked behind a paywall". Bring a basic exosuit to level 20. You can then get the alpha variant. Bring the alpha variant to level 10. Then you get the beta variant. It takes, what, 2-3 hours? How long have you been playing?

This game is solid, but it definitely needs additional maps and new game modes to keep it engaging. Live service games constantly evolve and improve, so these updates are necessary for its longevity.

Can confirm that the game isn't dead. I get matches almost instantly. Plus, we are in s4 w Megaman crossover! Plus a yellow devil Mega boss. Btw you can get all suits without paying. It just takes a lot of grind. Btw, crossplay is active. It's pretty lively still. Plus, we had a monster hunter crossover . We have the time loop rebellion the savage gauntlet, you left out a lot, tbh my man. I'm level 118 Plus your speaking purely on a pc basis, and we have cross-platform. Not an accurate review imho.

I personally couldn’t stomach playing Exo Primal. The whole play through one game mode to get to the next mode just isn’t fun to me and only forces me to play modes I don’t like. If they gave us a full story campaign with stages and bosses this would instantly draw in more players I feel.

I've noticed that mostly comes from people trying to farm.A certain exo primal suit and if they see somebody else in it or if they don't have a good team and know they're gonna die a bunch they just quit because nobody ever wants to change over from something they're building to a tank or a healer to help out

Great video thanks I really really really want this game but im not buying a game they can just turn off or is unplayable without players… I can still play all my ps1, ps2 and ps3 games from capcom and they all work and are playable but i cant justify this live service always online. Add offline mode, add bots, make it playable as a solo game.

Man, I can't stand player count culture. Just because people see stream charts and it shows a low player count is not the end all be all. Now that person won't even try out the game because to them, there isn't enough players. And this mentality actually causes a game to lose out on potential players as a result. Most of the player base is on Xbox since it's on Gamepass. In the 1800+ matches I've played over almost a full year, I've never had a problem getting a match in a reasonable time, not once. It's a solid game that I'd recommend to anyone looking to have some fun killing dinos with some friends or doing harder content with the weekly savage gauntlets. Give it a try :)
