I agree the bare minimum is that all the tracks are updated to their modern irl versions, some tracks have been outdated for years now. It seems that them saying they’ve updated “fan favourite circuits” is them just saying they can’t be arsed doing them all

No, the updating of "fan favoruite circuits" is clearly a PR narrative (an excuse) for saving money on dev team size and for achieving the yearly roll out deadline (high frequency sales) to milk eager hopeful people of their money. They're also too worried of leaving a big gap, in-between shiny new titles, as it may make people get bored, and then they could get accustomed to other driving games, or just anything else. When sales begin to fall and people are less inclined to fall for the (barely) new yearly titles, then they'll put more money and time into a better new title. Big companies and shareholders will prey on psychology to maximise you handing over money, until that psychology wears thin, then they have no choice but to wait longer between new releases (more development time) and thus their sales frequency goes down, but they have no choice if the yearly barely new titles wears thin on people and their sales begin to drop.

Honestly, just joking about how bad the coaches were and then joking around with them for 10 minutes made it a decent feature, like it didn't ruin the game while the clothing stuff is tacky. I actually liked it looking back, just cause it was so stupid.

I just briefly tried F1 24 for the first time using the standard car setup presets (no tweaking yet), and im on a TS-XW wheel. I honestly think that the handling is a huge improvement. I don’t really understand the criticism. The car feels more alive and less planted on “invisible rails”. The low speed corner mechanical grip (with less downforce contribution) makes sense and feels convincing. It enables you to rotate the car with the throttle if some more rotation is needed, which was not possible in previous games. Moreover, it is now possible to save the car from a spin because you feel and hear the slippage earlier. I seriously like what I see so far.

I am a controller player and honestly I find this experience much better than on the earlier game from last year. For casuals and professionals slightly easier controller side of things is really nice and it’s definitely wanting me to play this game more. For reference, I use 45 linearity and 45 steering deadzone for Xbox 1 controller in my pc. It still feels sensitive, but it’s not crazy if you know how to ease things. It feels lighter but you definitely feel the understeer more as your tires wear down, not to mention for people who are spinning out F1 cars do not have stability control the older F1 game seem to have too much power for. For the most part and focus on changing the wheel side of gameplay. I just hope people will start criticising the game too early and actually give some time and patience to evolve in what could be a change for the handling in the future. I hope you can relate in some Webby! It’s just something we all have to get used to at the end of the day As for the price I paid for it because I want to support Formula One as a community! That is why I paid for it not for the quality of the game.

I've tested it, it's not bad actually. The engine sounds weird but I can drive pretty decently, compared to how every other KZbin report drives all over the place. You can really notice the odd engine sound via the flashback mode, rewinding your driving. It's actually quite hard for me to recognise the mid area of the gears so I could up a gear early. The graphics actually don't look quite right. It looks similar to the f1 manager 22 game. A polish is needed. A part from that it's nice so far. You can choose your favourite in F1 world and contribute with other players.

Been playing it on and off for most of the night. I like it,don’t know what all the handling fuss was about unless they changed it because I think it’s brilliant, I’m only a casual gamer so only using controller but I think they handle brilliantly. Liking the career mode playing as Schumacher and started another one as leclerc. So far I’m really enjoying it.

um did you forgot about the ERS change, it quite a big one, you have to be strategic about hwo yo use it and you have in game GOALS, thats too a pretty good feature, overal it nice to sea carreerr mode getting revamped, but if you dont do career, its almost the same

I actually think the handling is quite good, there are weird moments with the back end of the the car but would say it definitely feels more real when following a car through high speed corners

The handling definitely feels wobbly and takes some time to get used to but I personally found myself having way more fun in close car racing than in f1 23 so if they keep improving their model the game could actually be not that bad

I am completely new to the F1 games and have found the game to be pretty fun. All I have driven so far are F2 cars and I have been have a blast with that. I have a G920 and that's it so pretty budget set up and I also don't have a high bar for what the game should have been so that might be it . I also pre-ordered it so this might be copium.

I'm enjoying the game. The only ones that seem to have a problem are "Sim racers". Which doesn't surprise me. Most hardcore games always complain about games saying it's never good enough. Also you don't have to buy the most expensive version people. You can wait or just buy the standard. The standard price is no different than anyother new game since the 90s

1:06 - Also pay attention to those "advices" as well. Many of them are giving inputs based on their wheeldrive setup, that they've got home, while many F1 gamers are using the controller. Those settings differ A LOT! So whenever you see any video like that, ask them to upload one using the controller settings test!

This is what happens when EA gets involved. Not surprised. And I’m not even referring to the handling. I’m referring to the “bare minimum”. If EA had owned Codemasters from the first F1 game, the series would have never seen anything remotely similar to the current difficulty scale. The games would still be stuck in easy/medium/hard.

The one thing that they did bother to change isn't even in a final working state. If they have such a hard time meeting their release schedule then they need to change their release schedule.
