What about the other type-moon protagonist like Shiki Ryougi that’s a assassin/Saber class. Why does Shirou need to stay a mage? Why does Shirou’s fate need as a servant is in the form of a pseudo servant or self-loathing counter guardian? Again, is his efforts to avoid Archer’s fate not relevant? Shiro is worth summoning since he has a lot of dmg res in his kit with dmg to back him up saber alter is my goal cause of the big boy dmg she pumping out is nut worthy as for the other units not too high on my priority list Note:if you're going for saber alt because op forgot to mention her biggest weakness will be if the enemy is crit resistance or negates crit in general so be careful of that

Well, because in Fate there is also Servant that can be categorize as spirit or divine spirit. We can't really make the argument that every Heroic Spirit is a spirit because a lot of them are original human. But i kinda wonder tho how they will implement it with Character like Gil, Because He is a demi God with 2/3 God, He is qualified as both divine and human, or any other demigod.

I think saber's defense slot is very valuable, it makes her easier to use in hard content and gives utility to the team which she lacks in her base kit

The defense slot just doesn't compliment what she is. Being pure DPS anyway its easy for her to be power creeped in the first place. If anything the defense slot brings her down since her sole purpose is just damage and a magic or physical would have been so much better.

After speaking with a few jp players, they are saying that Emiya is a hig win, but surprisingly Chloe is really good too. They say those 2 are the most important units to get, and Salter is the least important since she is solely a damage unit.

Honestly, Overlord Collab dried me up, and I'm ok with it since it's my favorite Anime. Got everyone and some equipment too. I have been saving ever since it dropped in JP, and even with all the crystals I saved up 2k+, I barely managed to actually get all of them, but surprisingly enough tickets saved me. Doesn't stack with every other art genner, she is just Type F arts genner. It's a group that art gens on the above 50% Hp condition. Bonus, thanks to her skill and unique passive, she can solo art gen a team if you dont lose much Hp. (She gets back 50 arts instantly after doing either Art/TA/SA and her skill gives a bit too)

Its more that her herself can't sustain solo or be the *Main* support... Let me give u an example let's say u just started playing the game u get illya and rin and u use your UoC to get Fen. Well that team is really nice however u better pray the team doesn't get Hit cause if you do u have no way to bring illya arts gen back online unless u slot in a healer which as a newer player with limited options u may have to go with a suboptimal unit for this role since u don't have access to someone like Hart. Now if you do have a unit that is able to alleviate this flaw then she is top 3 from fate and hell she may still even be top 3 without a healer. This units arts gen comes off as an afterthought to me more so than being an integral part of her kit.

Honestly if you have Shalltear you could probably pass on Salter. If you didn't get Shalltear then Salter is your chance for a big damage dealer. Honestly I might go for Chloe more (I got illya) because my main issue lately has been breaking a boss and not being able to nuke them outright. So she would see a lot of use from me for higher end content where bosses take more damage after being broken. Chloe + Shalltear would just be W's all day.
