@@jeremiaspatajo4932 Great question! Sorry I'm responding so late. I have both an exclusive rights option and a non-exclusive option. They don't really have a licensing system built in, so I just try to make it very clear what someone is getting when they place an order.
@lukeblood33182 жыл бұрын
@@LawderOfficial Fiverr doesn't currently ave built in licensing options, so I just try to be clear what they are getting. Most people don't have questions about it other than general things like "what does exclusive rights mean." It helped me to take a look at what other producers were doing and then I modeled my gig with some ideas from a couple that I liked.

i mean 52 orders for about 2k in 6 months isnt bad at all. I mean my thing is thats 52 beats that coulda sat on ur hard drive doing nothing at all. I feel like at somepoint as your brand builds it would be important to scale higher though and maybe do more exclusive stuff cause all this im sure can be very time consuming

I also have a question, How to set up my profile and gigs to be interesting for customers to hire me? For example how did you set yours?
@lukeblood33183 жыл бұрын
Great question. Tough to answer in a comment, so I'm considering making a video on this. To be honest I would look at other peoples profiles and pick out pieces that you like (or don't like) for inspiration. Definitely incorporate your own personality and try to think of ways to stand out from the pack. I know that's pretty vague, but if you create a gig I could check it out and give some more concrete feedback.

can you make beats with samples from other beats and make it 1 beat and sell it
@lukeblood33182 жыл бұрын
Really really good question. I don't use samples unless the artist specifically asks for it, and then I make it clear that they may be subject to copyright strikes if they don't get permission to use the sample.

So when i sell a beat with no producer tag should i sell it only to one buyer or can i sell it to mor than one and how do i do that ?
@lukeblood33182 жыл бұрын
You can set it up however you want, I would just recommend being clear with your description. Personally, I give them the option to purchase an exclusive beat for more money and then I will not sell that beat to anyone else. If they don't purchase the exclusive I can still let other artists use the beat or purchase the rights to it. Fiver has selling options so you can explain which product is exclusive an which one is not. I don't put my tag in any of my beats for Fiverr clients, but that's just what I decided to do. I hope that helps!
