We took the dirt road! Don't take it if you don't have a Jeep!! But if you do, the beach is private and the snorkeling is cool!

I was in culebra 2 weeks ago and my experience was completely different. We took the ferry from Ceiba at 3:30am because it was the only one available. Once we arrived to the island, there were cabs there waiting to take us to the beach. We arrived to Culebra at 5am, we got to the beach in about 15 mins or so. It was still a little dark and it was going to begin to get bright. We headed to the beach, no one around, just very few people that took the ferry with us. We saw the sun rise in Culebra, we took some analyzing photos. The beach was clean, with no sea grass, the waves were smoother, the water was much more clam than in your video. The beautify of this beach, blew my mind. It was dream to for me to go there. Culebra was the high light of my trip to Puerto Rico. ❤

I've been there and it is one of the most beautiful beach I've ever seen. It is very isolated (bring water and food), in a remote part of the island. Quiet, peaceful and the water is powder blue.

You also went there in February so you wont see people since most work and go to school during this time of year aaaaand Feb is usually the coldest month so it might feel like a Cali’s summers. Now in Summer time its a whole other story, that beach gets paaaacked. Culebra is also extremely small, the reason why there aren’t many locals there and people usually take the Ferry from mainland and back the same day you will not find fancy stuff. You will have the local food shops by the beach. If you are looking for something less natural and secluded from civilization, you can go to Viequez; more population (since its a bigger island), fancy hotels and more local shops. And it was also home base for Navy for a long time. I believe the Navy left Culebra before leaving Viequez.

Flamenco does not mean Flamingo (the animal). Flamenco is a Spanish dance.
