Is Flying Fish the BEST Restaurant at Walt Disney World? Disney's Boardwalk Resort

This is part 4 of our 5 part series where we dine at all of our favorite Walt Disney World Restaurants to see which we believe is the best.
Disney's Boardwalk Resort is designed to replicate the aesthetic of a turn of the 20th Century Atlantic City Boardwalk. Complete with creepy nanny chairs, antique furnishings and a real Boardwalk that includes numerous shops and eateries.
Among these eateries resides Flying Fish. This restaurant is named after a rollercoaster train that resided within a ride called The Flying Turns at Knoebels Amusement Park in Pennsylvania. While the interior of the restaurant does include subtle nods to its parent resort's theme, the dining area is more upscale. Including blue accents, fish themed utensils and grand chandeliers that include fish in an aquatic environment. The menu specializes in seafood with classic American fare.
Our first experience here was on the 3 year anniversary of our KZbin channel. We dined here at the suggestion of our subscribers and we were blown away. Since then, we've been back multiple times and consider this to be one of Walt Disney World's most consistent restaurants. When we created a top 5 we knew this had to be on the list. It must be Bob Iger's favorite resort...I don't know if he was there for work or relaxation, but last week when I was coming out of my room at the Boardwalk, I passed him in the hallway. What a trip! Thinking I may have been mistaken, I glanced at a cast member nearby - he gave me a smile & a nod. 😊

Next time we're in Orlando, we're going to Flying Fish to have a nice little dinner with y'all. 🥰 MY Goodness. Ask Chad. I was going "mmmm" for all the food you showed. All the menu looked amazing! I love how it's been there since the 90's. When I worked at Beach Club at night, I always loved looking over to the boardwalk to see the neon. Excited for tea time! I also hope they will sell good cake slices. Sometimes you just want a slice of cake. 😂 For our Honeymoon Disney let us choose a place to stay and we did Boardwalk on the water and it was amazing. Def a must cause the sunset and rise are gorgeous!

Oh man, that honeymoon stay sounds like a dream! Really hope we can stay here one day with similar accommodations. Can't wait for our Flying Fish dinner 🙂. The food here really is next level from our experience. We're also hoping for Tea Time and Cake! This area is in desperate need of a bakery.

Out of your best restaurant videos, this is the only one I haven't eaten at yet and need to fix that. We love Cali Grill and Topolino's but need to try this one. The refurb looks really nice. That steak looks soooo good. I do love a good lobster bisque and those utensils are adorable. Glad the steak was still consistent and a 10, it looks heavenly. The potato red snapper looks really nice too. Great review you guys! :)

Flying Fish is the Best Restaurant on Property. The Scallops and Strip Steak are our Favorites. Pork Belly is very good. So is the Octopus. Bring money 💰, lol. Worth it. Thanks for sharing.

Flying Fish, Jiko, my two big bucket list Disney restaurants. I've tried Narcoossee's (it was okay) and Artist Point when it was a signature restaurant (it was nice), and Topolinos for breakfast so it doesn't count, but so far the signature dining I've done has been disappointing. I've preferred Toledo, Wine Bar George, and Sanaa! Thanks for the great video, definitely want to try this out!

Both are stellar experiences! My Dad wasn't a fan of Narcoossee's. To be fair, we dined at Narcoossee's on the first day they opened after their refurbishment and I think they were on their best behaviour. We're excited to see if the experience can be replicated. Toledo was next level. Only reason it didn't make this list is because our first experience wasn't that great but the last time we went was spectacular. Also, Wine Bar George and Sanaa are 🔥. Oh man that place is awesome. We love going there but haven't been there in a while. We will def go this Oct when we come down for the Food and Wine Fest. She crab is one of my faves and that steak looked amazing. Wonder if they could do a filet the same way they did the strip. Great review, looked like you guys really enjoyed yourselves. Is Blue Ribbon Corn Dog open or is it just a building that will open at a later date? We will be down there next year Christmas and I realllly want to get a corn dog from here lol. @@ThemeParkFoodies Yes it can be luck of the draw but in some plces the odds are stacked in your favour. We do love the interior decor of FF though - the water bubble chandaliers are stunning. Top 5 in no particular order. Cali Grill. Sanaa. Olivias - that buttermilk chicken wow.! Brown Derby & always have a soft spot for Raglan Road. 👍
