If there are any met fans mad at lindor because he has a “slow start” they should be banned from mets nation. That man just carried us to one of the best seasons in a long time. Cant turn on him because of a “slow start”

Couldn't agree more. Besides, slow starts are more common that we think

Why would Lindor's first batch of games matter? He just proved the old adage that "it's not how you start, it's how you finish."

He'll be fine as long as they leave him in the leadoff position. Let him just focus on getting on base. Whatever else he does is a bonus. That's how he got out of the slump last year

Lindor is going to be fine. Stop trying to make problems where there isn’tz

Pressure will be silently placed on Lindor while everyone acts as if they don't want him to play like an MVP. The Mets may lose Pete and he is the only true power hitter in the lineup other than Soto. That will only mean that the Mets will have to play a more speed on the bases and more small ball type of game. This will change the dynamics of the team. The starting pitching will also not stand up to rigors of a very strong National League. That, to me, means that there will be much frustration on the team because you will not see hitting carrying the pitching as would be if they sign Pete.

I’d say yes just based on how he ended last year need to ride the hot hand and be a leader

No...Not at All...Lindor is awesome and settled...+ Soto has his back, not to mention all the emerging stars the METS have with Vientos, Acuna, Alvarez, etc. all coming up big...Baseball is a game of Streaks (+) & Slumps (-) for Players & Teams, no worries or pressure at all on a veteran All-Star of Lindor's stature

AJ, you need to be careful when criticising N.Y fans. Regardless of what teams they're cheering for, it's best to comment, NO COMMENT, when discussing that topic.

He's under a lot of pressure because of the absence of ALONSO.
