To add on, the lyrics '그런 다이아 박힌 티아라 하나에 (Well, for a tiara with a diamond)' by Minnie and '내가 퍽이나 웃게, 퍽이나 웃게 (Did you think I'd just laugh as if, laugh as if?)' By Yuqi perfectly connects to each other gramatically in Korean lyrics. It portrays how women like Marilyn Monroe were seen during 1950s ~ 60s. People used to have stereotypes about them, that those kind of beautiful white women with blonde hair, are dumb enough to only chase after wealth and fame. They were more like a trophy a man can win whenever they want with money. The lyrics kind of mocks the man (the one who's trying to lure women with a tiara with a diamond), in the perspective of Minnie/Yuqi (as if they are those women, since the lyrics are in first person perspective). So the lyrics can be interpreted as 'Do you think I'm dumb enough to just smile and accept that tiara with a diamond?' (The Korean word '웃게', which is interpreted as 'laugh' in the translated version, also means 'smile') Also, in the video where the recording process of Nxde were shown, Soyeon asks Yuqi to try 2 versions of her iconic line: One is the current version, '내가 퍽이나 웃게, 퍽이나 웃게', but another version has different lyrics, which are '내가 퍽이나 좋게, 퍽이나 좋게'. Connected to the previous line of Minnie, it can be translated into 'Do you think I would be content in receiving your tiara with a diamond?'. Either way, it mocks the people who thought that the members/idols would only chase after wealth.

4th gen is very diverse but people have made it all about, who is the best and leaders of 4th gen.. kinda of ranking and placing every new comeback in the rat race. many groups and their artistry don't get the limelight and (g)i-dle is doing an amazing job at sustaining and impacting with their work. soyeon, is def my ult. and is one who inspires me from not limiting myself to writing poetry but also learn how to write/produce/compose music. she's an inspiration and i admire her mindset; making every member shine individually and altogether, having a sense of story throughout their album and everything. idle is her masterpiece as she said; and i always crave for more of their artistry work to be released.

i would love to add onto this there are so much kpop acts out there that have such a great ability to tell a story, their concept, the music and lyrics that goes on with it and especially the music videos. and people just make everytime a ranking/popularity/numbers contest. like that's not what it's about ! ive's heya has such a beautiful storyline and yet people can only seem to talk about how it "flopped" and so does txt's deja vu. who cares if it didn't do "that well" on the charts, the story, art and concept is beautiful. let's talk about that instead

something that comes mind-blowing to me was fans who saw soyeon in "i live alone" episode, knew the concept as well as marilyn being the inspo... since May. before her re-emergence in recent year(s) due to kim kardashian or the movie blonde or else,, and somehow idle was the best at portraying and respecting her. it's not the first time soyeon predicted a trend and she always knows exactly what she is doing.

It's really amazing indeed, i wish i had half of her IQ, i would go places lol. I especially liked how she manage to actually pass Marilyn's word to the world, and not only the superficial image or the 'almost depth' of her (like being pretty but smart), it was so much more than that. She is really great at what she does!

Then I decided to watch the actual music video after which I watched your whole video again! I absolutely love the inclusion of the famous opera Carmen's song "Habanera." Although this opera has long been beloved, the first time it was performed in 1875, the audience was shocked and horrified. I've discovered that this is not uncommon with pioneering work, including the ballet "Rite of spring" and Ravel's famous music "Bolero." Tenes a gidle justamente para mostrar buenas letras
