Gambit was the Goat. He laid down his life protecting everyone. And Apocalypse is definitely going to stomp on that memory everyone has left of him.

What do you mean he never got a happy ending with Rogue in the comics. They got married and are still together.

Gambit and Rogue got married in the comics. It happened at the failed wedding between Colossus and Kitty Pride shadow cat.

Theres a lot of potential that was never explored with regardsto Gambit and his conneciton and relation to Mr SInister and Apocalypse even int he comic books. There have been some speculaiton in some stories which some consider non canon, but its nice ot see them catching up on some of the last couple tales of Gambit inteh comics for this new show. GAMBIT was my fav comic character (in Marvel) Besides SINISTER HIMSELF! ^

OH also Gambit joined apocalypse temporarily ot keep an eye on him, as well as to try and forget about what had happened with mystique and rogue. Also a big signifigance of that story was that, only a few peple were ever considered for the position of "Death", as that was like the right hand of Apocalypse, and if he died, whomever was his "Death" would ake his place, as that was the backup plan that all individuals doing what Apocalypse had done for thousands of yearso n behalf oft he Celestials had been doing. I dont remember how many other death characters there were, but it was the highest honor, and I think only Archangel was in a similar position, and thus was like the next "apocalypse" in an alternate future. AS was an alternate version of Wolverine after he too went from being "war" and or "death" in an alternate universe before ascending. But the power still dwells within Gambit, and they kinda just forgot about it in the comics. *sigh All that wasted potential. Hell even if they did another itme travel fiasco, and it ended up that Gambit WAS Mr Sinister or Apocalypse, in some weird twist of fate and temporal paradox, that would be better than just letting things be forgotten and go unsued that were such great story plot material. T

My theory is Apocalypse will resurrect all those killed in Genoshia as his servants as in the storyline Necrosha but it will be Apocalypse instead of Selene

The comic book storyline with death as gambit sounds so stupid that i am hoping this show does this comic book storyline ten times better then the original Storyline Ever did in my opinion.

Love the idea of gambit coming back cant escape the memories of how lame horseman of death Gambit was in the comics it they go that route just hope theyll use that power + other cool ones , and a better outfit but, i really cannot wait to see what they do with this in season 2.
