I would argue instead that nobody is perfect, which is more of a fact than something purely based on opinions. The idea of I am perfect the way I am can also be a dangerous trail of thought as if people start taking that to heart they will not realize or accept their flaws and mistakes, which will severely damage their progress of maturity. The Karens have this type of mentality as well as other elevated people, it’s good to value yourself but thinking you are perfect is going a little too far. Instead I would rather think no one is perfect, but you can value yourself with your imperfections unless they are actively hurting you or the ones around, in that case you should seek to change, but the idea I am perfect goes against this as it closes your mind to the idea of change, since you are already “perfect” in that mentality.
