I get it all the time at the restaurant i work at. When ppl say they have a gluten allergy I say are you gluten free or celiac because you can’t eat anything here if your celiac and then they’re like oh it’s not that serious I can still eat it. So you’re not allergic then lol smh 🤦‍♀️

I don’t have a problem with anyone wanting to change their diets but putting an allergy label on themselves when there’s not is utterly ridiculous and wrong. I have a cousin that's allergic to so many things: eggs, gluten, lentils, chicken, soy, greens and beans and probably more, pollen, dust, mould. It affects his skin and lungs and he can never sleep soundly he's always crying from pain He's still a child and it's so sad that he can't eat things normal children eat we have to be very careful around him. Normal pizza, cakes, cookies he can't eat it. It's so hard to find products which are not cross contaminated since we're from a 3rd world country where it'ds hard to find this stuff. So it's so annoying to see people who are perfectly healthy removing specific things from their diet for no reason and being fussy when people have actual diseases which prevents them from eating even a crumb or else they have to be hospitalised and be on so many medicines.

I just want to put it out there that I developed celiac disease after giving birth. I ate bread and naan and all wheat based stuff for 28 years with zero issues but after giving birth I had diarrhea and vomiting for 5 months and lost a shit tonne of weight and got bedridden until. Every single test came back negative. then my doctor FINALLY tested me for celiac disease and it came back positive. I've been gluten free for 1 month now and feel better now.

Ok I’m gluten and lactose intolerant, which means small amounts I’m fine, I’ll get bloated if I have half a piece of bread for instance but nothing severe. So I can “cheat” like I can have a biscuit or a coffee with regular milk and just be bloated that’s it. But if I have more than that my god my stomach starts to hurt so bad I can’t even sleep that night and even worse I can start throwing up. So he has no idea. Also I know it’s just for an episode so they have some content but people think like Scott all the time. Also allergens can happen any time in your life you can outgrow them and develop them. she’s not anaphylactic nor am I but allergies effect people differently. anyway regarding she’s actually allergic or not it’s her choice not to eat that stuff, so just let her be gluten really isn’t Good for your gut so let her live her life gluten free lol

Its a question of how much Gluten at the time. I ate 7 Days only wheat and Honey and got serious bumps on my skin and a swollen face. I never before in my life reacted that much to wheat - but after 7 Days only wheat it got me heavily. So i think it is good that Courtney is restricting herself from time to time - it is just 80% Gluten in nowadays Wheat - it did not use to be that high of a concentration- it was at 20% years ago. Things change - give Courtney a Break.

I don't have lactose or gluten intolerance at a high level. But when I have them I get severe acne and a bad rash. I didn't know until I stopped eating gluten and dairy. As a person who is allergic to egg and has been all my life people like Kourtney do not know how isolating it is. For example, a classmate bakes cupcakes for the class because it’s their birthday and you can’t have any because your allergic to egg and you just have to watch everyone else enjoy the cake and talk about how it takes like this other you can’t have, that has eggs in it. A food allergy occurs when the immune system reacts to a harmless food. A food intolerance occurs when the body has a chemical reaction to eating a particular food or drink. That could be what kourtney is experiencing,but A food allergy occurs when the immune system reacts to a harmless food. Like Scott said you can’t cheat on allergies. If I could have one day where I could go out with my family or friends and eat any and everything And not be the person that everyone has to work around or have to cancel plans because the stress of what to eat , will I be judged for getting that is too much.
