Depends, Gozyuger is the 49th season. We are celebrating it as the 50th anniversary of GoRenger because Gorenger came out in 1975 and this year is 2025 which equals to 50. IF they wanted to celebrate Gorenger, make a Gorenger special, not make a anniversary season. Remember, JAKQ was cancelled, so the following year there was no new super sentai in 1978. After the success of Japanese Spider-man in 1978 which had a Spider-man Mecha, Toei decided to make sentai in 1979 and their first sentai mecha, and sentai has been on since. Because LupinVSPat have 2 Reds, they are counting them as separate red, which totals to 50, we are ignoring other Reds like TimeFire, KabutoRaiger, 2 AkaNingers, Houou Soldier because they aren't your Main Red plus the Gozyuger Writers are just making things up. After Gozyuger ends, next year will actually be the 50th season. They are just desperate to celebrate sentai this year, instead of waiting next year. So it depends, to celebrate the 50th Gorenger yes but to celebrate the whole sentai seasons no, because it's not the 50th season yet. But the writers are saying we are celebrating it with Gozyuger, so who knows if next year if we are celebrating again, because it'll actually be the 50th season.

Next year is the actual 50th season, if they wanted to celebrate this year, then do something special for Gorenger, and next year for the actual 50th season anniversary.

The producer have no idea what they're doing, they're just making things up. IMO, it's a dumb decision. I don't care if Gozyuger is amazing. It's about common sense. This year is Gorenger 50th, so do a special of it, and next year is the 50th season anniversary. The fact they have to change it, and if next year we don't celebrate the 50th season as an anniversary feels wrong. It already feels wrong celebrating the anniversary season now, when it should be only for Gorenger. Next year is the 50th season anniversary, a huge milestone, the fact there is a chance we don't celebrate and see it as a regular season is disappointing. This is just my opinion. This just seems like a poor decision making.
