I love the triangle windows. Many times I have re-created some buildings and could have used those.

Yes! They are amazing! I want a real triangle shaped window now. Will be absolutely great for a-frame houses etc.

I think that first window is meant to be a transom, but it depends on if it matches the width of one of the doors, since they go at the top of a door. Indoor transoms were designed to allow better heat and airflow through the house. Transoms at an entry door could also be decorative and let light in. Entry transoms are often used with sidelights, which are tall, narrow glazing that goes to the sides of the door. Glazing is the technical name for windows that don’t open.

Those are basically what’s known as card tables (the gaming tables). And my grandparents had an art deco dining table in aqua with silver trim, and they were born around 1900, so to me it seems pretty accurate for the US.

I too hate sim kids. I have 4 in real life, I don't want them in my fake life as well. American craftsman is one of my favorite building styles so I'm all for this stuff. I also think they should make windows with the option of the exterior and interior frames being different colors, like white out, wood in. Also love the "eclectic" furniture stuff. Great overview as always! Thanks!

Yes I also hate kids in the game. Thank you so much for doing this video. It was long but I really enjoyed it so much. I laughed so hard at your toddler potty comments I got the hiccups! It's like you were saying "This could have been Yamachan. What a missed opportunity to teach your kids to shit in Yamachan's mouth". Hilarious! I thought the cardboard rocket ships were dollhouses! How are they not!? Those organ boxes looked like lunch coolers to me so you weren't the only person who saw that. I was actually very excited for those coffee tables but looking at them now the texture seem so strange. They are too shiney & that makes me sad. If they were more rustic I'd love them. I really love the new kitchen appliances. I love old fashioned things and the old timey ice box fridge warms my heart. My Gramma had a very outdated double door fridge from the 40s that looked a lot like that. Thank goodness we can now buy a pack with a decent piano! I use the keyboard from City Living a lot but I love Jazz & that keyboard just isn't good enough for a smoke filled basement speakeasy.

The piano was long overdue. We had a piano like this in all the other sims games. I often wondered why we didn’t have that yet. I’m excited to try out the new more eclectic pieces.
