My nephew use to work at the Checkers on Central Avenue. I have had their food a couple of times. It was good, but my favorite hamburger place is Burger King. My Father used to take us to the one in the Central Ward on West Market when they first opened.

@@MattDV It is no longer there. They tore it down when they built that huge bank, that has also been torn down. It was where West Market, Springfield Ave, South Orange Avenue meet. You were probably too young to remember. I am 64 and was in my teens I believe, when they first opened in Newark

Hardee's and Burger King are my favorites. I've never had Checkers, though. But, yeah, that burger looked dry as a cotton ball. Whenever I buy fries from Wally World, I always get the Checkers, lots of flavor there. Great video, brother 👍 👌

I love Checkers because their burgers remind me of the burgers I ate back in the 70s and 80s. Their fries are the same as Popeyes.

I love the Ocean air and walking the entire boardwalk and of course the many different types of summer foods and treats. And no I am not a gambler. I have never had a Checkers burger,not sure I even want one now.😆 The fries did look good though. Kam-sa-ham-ni-da ( thank you) They ( nail salon people) appreciate that you know some of their lingo and they appreciate the tips😆 I learned how to say this watching Mr. Roger's Neighborhood.😆 It's one of the few phrases of Korean that I know. How many languages do you speak? I'm not sure,but have you done a video on a Korean BBQ spot yet?

Checker's bought Rally's back in 1999. Rally's is Checker's sister company, same food, same menu, same distributor basically their exactly the same just depends on what state you live in which one you have
