Most people outside the tech industry aren't aware that many of these electric systems can be, and often are, managed from a centralized location. This means they can be disabled at any time by those in control. For instance, Tesla owners have experienced their cars being remotely shut down during legal disputes. This is a genuine risk. Switching from gas-powered vehicles to electric ones means relinquishing full-control.

Getting mad about motorcycles having a clutch is wild. These bikes are cool and more practical but will never be cooler than old school bikes. Only one that will beat my old Yamaha in a race is the Varg. They all have a time and place but honestly real riders don't give up on old bikes just because e-motos are great too. On most bikes you don't even need the the clutch to upshift it's just taking off and downshifting. And riding a 2 stroke or even a thumper on a track off road it's a ton of fun to use the clutch and gears to control the bike something these bikes can never replicate

Great video! As an EV owner the charging experience you show at the end of the video is the #1 reason why EV adoption in the US is so awful. Until they fix it and make it just as easy as getting a gas vehicle filled up, people will not switch to EVs. The plug type, broken chargers, apps, accounts, charging networks... It's all terrible. We already learned this lesson already with Apple vs Android chargers. Why they didn't address this before it became a problem is beyond me.

I can quickly explain why the clutch exists: You see, a normal engine is simply always spinning, so, the cluch is actually what connects the engine to the wheel, if your clutch isn't pressed, that means the engine is turning the wheel, but then that means if you stop the wheel, you also stop the engine, because unlike an electric motor, a gas engine can't just stop turning, if you stop it, it stalls, so, you need a clutch, now engines also have an RPM range where they're most efficient at, so that's why you also have speeds, because otherwise, engine rpm would be = to wheel RPM, which isn't very efficient, so you use the clutch between speeds, speeds which are just a selections of ratios of engine rpm to wheel rpm. The tldr is that the clutch is what disconects your wheel from the engine. Hope that helps!

The only reason why I like clutch is banging through gears, if I want less throttle I don't use the clutch I just give it less throttle, unless I'm coming to a stop or just have to slow down in a short amount of distance to turn I pull in the clutch and downshift depending on the gear I'm in

Clutch ist for changing gears, if you shift without clutch (and without speed shifter) you will rip the gearbox immediately, also the clutch is important to drive of without the engine dying. So basically when you drive of you need to slowly get momentum and if you have enought shift in second gear... Actually it's pretty fun.

You can totally coast with a clutch. You can launch at higher rpm's. You can push it around in your garage and charging station easier. Give it time, you'll love it.

blinkers are auto turn off and there is an adaptor for the fast charging, a clutch on bike acts like a brake pad and a disk stopping, to select the gear from the manual gearbox

Im the same man, some questions ive done for my construction inductions, tickets and what not have the most scuffed answers. Like theres not enough information and isnt specific and you try to assume what it means because it feels like stuff is missing lol

For the record you should be using black bars to obscure sensitive information, gaussian blur and mosaic can be reconstructed with relative ease now adays. Super fun video btw, grats on the license.

I can't believe you dropped the bike........trust me, I've had all the bikes, sportbikes sport tour and no fairing bagger and street glide. The full fairing baggers reign supreme, none of that rip your head off wind at 80 and up. Shifting is easy and the motor sounds amazing. With your love of two wheels you have to try sometime.

people choose the clutch because of passion, because they cost less, they have more legal options and the thrill of a 2t motocrycle hearing the engine roar its just fantastic

Easy bro!! U are correct....Ebike's do not burn oil, therefore progress is not important. Frustrating isn't it.....u are not alone.

i agree about the clutch, I got my CBT (UK Basic Training) and bought a Solar Eclipse to get back and forth to work. so much easier and less to worry about. plenty of other options for electric now compared to a few years ago!
