At 2nd gen K-pop's peak, I respected Super Junior's talent and enjoyed their songs, even if I wasn't a fan. I'm more into Bigbang and 2NE1 myself. Super Junior's contribution to Hallyu cannot be denied though and their songs have lasting impact. Ironically, I did not even know Kim Heechul's name back then, but I'm now hooked on watching anything with Kim Heechul in it. It all started when I found him to be extremely entertaining on Knowing Bros and I binge-watched all its episodes up until that time (deciding to skip over those where he was absent because they were boring). Now, I know all of Super Junior's members, have some of their songs on my playlist and enjoy watching Heechul interact with his Suju members.

Heechul joint more variety show to promote his group. I'm talking about his injuries back in 2006 if I'm not mistaken. He almost crashed his whole left leg, and now got a metal rod installed in his leg. That's why he always has a small part only in every song, he didn't want to burden the group's image not being able to follow the group's difficult choreography. Since he couldn't dance well, that's why he acts does variety shows as another way to promote his group. The fact that he became an expert on the girl group's dance may also be due to this reason, which is quite sad when we think back. He tried very hard, but his smile often makes us forget his struggle.

SuJu is really a great example of long-lasting active idol with more than half of their original members. And yes they are very good with improvising their dance. But I have to say, there are another junior group that improvise their freestyle dancing as well. Seventeen with their title song Clap back in 2017. There is one part where Vernon usually changed the choreo and the rest will follow like how SuJu does with Devil. Well since this two groups are close, perhaps SuJu may give them the idea or they think of it themselves or inspired by SuJu's performance. Either way, both these groups are wonderful and I love them! I really want to see SuJu be in the industry for a long long time.

Actually, Seventeen’s role model is Super Junior! So no wonder why they have many similarities to Suju and also their bond is very strong because they haven’t been following the advises from Leeteuk and the rest of the Suju members. I remember when devil first came out and people were like criticizing suju for the very simple choreo and stuff. And now here are professional dancers enjoying the song and complimenting it and the freestyle part. The guy even admitted he has it on his playlist. Just shows that the simple choreo matches the song really well because it made it more enjoyable to watch
