He holds the ball too long. He got sack a lot at Jackson state too so it’s not always the line

This is true. My guess is that he tries so hard to not be labeled as a running qb that he'll hold the ball for a long time in hopes a receiver breaks free, hopefully, he improves on that and makes quicker decisions.
