At first I thought MaxPax's hold was just ridiculous, when he kinda got caught with his pants down. But I went back and checked - he built a battery at the expansion _immediately_ upon seeing creep, and promptly followed it up with two more batteries. It's easy to just see Overcharge doing ridiculous things and going lol toss free hold button - there's a bit of truth to that - but MaxPax's response was sharp and exactly correct.

I'm not sure if it's the same thing over there but here in Mexico, after you register to do your military service, there's a lottery draw that can get you the "Black Ball", which allows you to not give active service, but basically places you as a reserve should anything happen. Lowko, Tempest are so bad they're the unit that does damage to a single target with the worst DPS/pop in the entire game apart from high templar auto attack. And yes, that include workers. They're the capital ship of shame.

Not even remotely true. Tempest air-to-air DPS is 16.97, air-to-ground DPS is 12.73. Zerglings, Roaches, Mutalisks, Corruptors, Adepts, Sentries, Stalkers, Phoenix, Marines, Marauders, Reapers, Hellions, Hellbats, Liberators (AA) all have less than 12.73 DPS. Only some of those scale better than Tempest with upgrades (most notably MM).

@@hivetech4903 If you read, I said DPS/pop. 16.97 air to ground /5 pop of the tempest is 3.39. Less than the 4.67 DPS/pop of a probe. Their AtA DPS/pop is 2.55, ramping up to 4.41 against massive. By comparison, Marine's DPS/pop is 9.7 and ramp up to 14.7 under stimpack. Because marines cost a single unit of pop. Zergling DPS/pop is 20, 28.6 after metabolic boost. As I said, of all the units without AoE they have the worst DPS/pop in the game apart from High templar auto attack (and unupgraded adepts against non light)

@@TyphoonJig Easy to miss DPS/pop because no one uses that or even DPS/"supply". Because the lowest number doesn't mean they're bad if the unit can fulfill its purpose of large specialized burst damage. As it relates to capital ships they still find more use than BCs for certain.

In english vernacular it's a noun, but i think in starcraft it's both a noun and a verb. "Feedback the vipers" sounds acceptable in starcraft since enough people use the noun as a verb in that manner.

You can't say the Queens "transfusioned the vipers" either because "transfusion" is a noun and "transfuse/transfused" is the verb. This is just English 101. Actually, just language 101, cause pretty sure you can't conjugate (verb) a noun in any language, only use declension (noun) on a noun.

This is why pro gamers frustrate the ever living crap out of me. Get one or 2 phonix I the beginning of the game. Helps scout, shut down scouting, and your able to contain overlords to the zergs base. Same as terrain pro player who never get a few missile turrets. Yes I cost money but look how much it would save in the end.
