@rainscratch7 ай бұрын
Started when 10, his father - an accomplished guitarist - guided and influenced him in the world of classical, jazz and the greats of 1970s and 80s. He is now 27. His first interest was metal and went to musical conservatory for classical. Then Jazz, rock and everything in between and beyond. Developed his finger technique and never uses a pick. Insane talent that is other-worldly.

I'm a MM's follower by years. Its ever difficult to say "The best in the world" and I'm not sure that this affirmation has a real sense. There are many aspects of playing guitar. The best of ? Sound, phrasing, composition, innovation, eclettism? MM is for sure one of the most interesting guitarists in the world, his innovative right hand technique and his incredible and chamaleontic ability to play EVERY GENRE in a fantastic way, make him a unicum world level. Metal, jazz, fusion, rock, country, classic, gypsy, bebop. No genre have secrets for him, he plays with every last 100 years guitar technique. Taste, musical culture, technique, passion, heart and soul. And a great person, humble and fair. A mix very very rare.

Seton, your channel is a very important one. Matteo has new bass and drummer. You are educating Joe public about Matteo`s capailites. Matteo is 27 years old. Practised 8 hours a day growing up. His Father is a major influence for Matteo. 3-4 fingers play cleaner and fast, faster than a pick. Dad was a classical accoustic guitar the still plays. Thank Yamaha for the places Matteo plays. It might be Italy he grew up near the ocean

Hello, love your channel. Matteo here has composed a piece of music starting from his Sicilian roots quite influenced by the domination and musical culture, and not only, Arab. But he does it using the lever, the tremolo, in the manner of Scott Henderson when he plays the blues. Matteo is a sponge, he has received a lot of musical influences, also thanks to his father. He can play in all styles. Even flamenco guitar with Al di Meola (see the video). Even the architecture of Palermo (capital city of Sicily) in the background underlines this influence. Keep working, music is a capital of human beauty that hides and reveals a lot of nuances. You just have to understand its historical origins and motivations. Was I too drastic or didactic? I apologize, but this is what I wanted to say.
