Relax guys, Gautam is going to be India's new Head coach. And Surya will play ODIs again and then we’ll see a new batsman altogether. And sending surya after jadeja in the final was the main issue. He was batting alongside Kuldeep and other bowlers. He had to save his wicket and make runs also.

And l think the GG mindset will surely bring good results to Surya Edit: I think sending Surya after Jadeja made Surya to not try hit runs , as India was already down by many wickets and he could not risk it by playing his aggressive style .So he played slow, and when the overs were ending he had to score runs definitely, so he played his Supla shot and as always playing too defensive and trying to hit big , made him out .And he was batting with bowlers in such a low batting position, so how can we expect better.

Rohit really isn’t the best captain even though he won t20 World Cup seemed like he panicked in the t20 final and put axar instead of like hardik and he got smacked for 24 runs in that over nearly cost us the entire match if not for a combination of South Africa choking and amazing death bowling. And in 2023 final bro couldn’t even set the field right why not place a slip if head was getting edged a lot. How can someone not put a slip and put so much early pressure on Australia. I guess the pressure of the entire nation gets to him though.

Nah he is garbage in odi should only focus on t20 to be honest. But stupid BCCI is trying to make every player all format. I swear to god if they choose him in the champions trophy. They know he is bad at odi and if they choose him in champions trophy it just certifies that bcci picks players based on popularity. Many better players than him in odi that they can pick.
