lol at the fact that these are supposedly real doctors. how is medicine supposed to advance if you're not willing to explore the possibilities? sure the guy with the muscular atrophy might not survive but isn't the tiny chance that it might actually be successful enough to give it a go, especially if the patient is in it 100%???? i say do it, responsibly and legally obviously. if i were brain dead and had a healthy body, and if it were an option for organ donors, i would be completely okay with having my body used for a head transplant, i think science is awesome and the surgeons who perform these types of innovative procedures are the reason why the science in medicine is where it's at right now. and even if it doesn't work, there is always success in failure because you can study your mistakes and determine what could be done better for the next trial. shame on them for not seeing that.

The thing is, the chance of success is zero in this case. If you are trying to experiment something, you have to use something as a basis, but there's nothing in medicine that can give people even a slight hope of this thing to work out, actualy there's just materials that prove that such a thing wouldn't be possible. Every Theory comes from somewhere, but this man who was thinking about making the first head transplant just had nothing, that was a complete shot in the dark, and this surgery would 100% go wrong

PLEASE READ THIS: THIS VIDEO IS TOTALLY OBSOLATE; we already made it on our underground research 80 years ago, but we keep it secret so that no one will take the technology for the chance of falling into the wrong hands. It is possible for us to make a brain transplant from human to human, animal to animal, human to animal, or vice versa. I am the descendant of the elite who first made the technology; they have already died and passed it on to us, the young ones. Brain transplant? closed case Our current research is to transfer brain consciousness, or the mind, from person to person, including the stored memories. We have already made 20% progress on it.

I admire the doctors who are trying to do this. While no one truly knows how possible it is or isn't, and there are those people just throwing around the term "unethical" without any explanation, these doctors have already given a blueprint of their operation plan. I once admired the doctors on this show but instead of given very vague reason for why it isn't possible I wish they were trying to be innovative and throwing out possible ways to make it happen. But still there is a place for everyone in the scientific community. The naysayers and the achievers.

One of many ethical issues of the prospect of body transplant is that it is a cure to any terminal medical condition that affects the body and not the head. The discrepancy between numbers of recipiants and donors will be staggering. How to choose?

my problem with the surgery is the spinal cord... if the donor spinal cord is thicker than that of the recipient how are they going to handle it.. people are really diverse and it's a given that the girth of the donor and recipient's spinal cords won't match unless they're identical twins
@neworldgaming4596

it's possible in some aspects like I believe that blood circulation, muscle reattachment etc. won't be a problem except for the spinal cord. The doctor performing this surgery stated that they will be using a special bio glue, I mean can't you test that out in animals first and if it does work why not use that glue to help spinal injury patients. help them walk again you know

No! It's not a special type of glue. It's PEG. We use that to fuse cells together. But, a neuron, you see, it's far more complex, with all its wiring. Gluing it together is not the challenging part, getting it to work is. Especially with up to 10,000 other connections, replacing 1 neuron itself is hard.

A better way would be first get a stone mask that’ll turn you into a vampire once you’ve become a vampire then get a hamon user to defeat and when you get defeated,then get your minions to order a coffin on the same ship with hamon user that defeated you is at. Next is to make everyone in the middle of the ocean zombies so that way the it can be easier to defeat the hamon user with your laser abilities once defeating the person then you can finally steal his body. The last step is to hide in a coffin in the middle of the ocean for 100 years then head over to Egypt to get yourself an arrow that’ll give you a time stopping robot spirit

The spinal cord alone is a real problem. You can't simply cut a head off and place it on a body and fuse it together. The next body will already be in a paralyzed state and no better than the current one. If this technology on the spine were perfected then maybe. Until then I don't see a chance.

We need less people like this in medical industry. Clearly, they don't think outside of the box... Decades ago people thought the first person to do a kidney transplant "was playing God". Now, it's pretty normal to hear. Same with a heart transplant, and face transplant. Technology will continue to improve and we will see advances that make it not only a possibility, but a reality. TL;DR: Come back in 2040 and like my comment when the first human head transplant has been done.

This "M.D." saying that what they are trying to do is "fiction" shows that he's a fake! For the laymen, it could be seen as fiction, as it was 50 years ago when somebody said, 'hey, let's do a hand transplant!', or more recently a face transplant. But if he was the real deal he would never say that, and would consider all possibilities before claiming that is fiction. There's a high chance that dude will die, but there's always a first in everything and besides, he volunteered, so whatever these douchebags say is totally irrelevant. The first hand transplant was a total disaster. Now they can attached multiple limbs at the same time if necessary and succesfully.

I would like to come back to this video once the surgery is a success. There's a lot of surgeons backing up this procedure. Doing stuff like this always comes with a risk. The first heart and lung transplants weren't successful either. It took multiple surgeries to get it down. Even now there's a probability of dying with almost any procedure. These are hollywood people. Yes they probably know more than most of us but there's other high class surgeons who are higher up that do believe it will work. I stopped believing what you guys said after I saw the coming up 'vampires might be real' Like really? I'm supposed to trust these people.
