Is Hellebuyck's playoff start cause for concern?

There has to be concern about: - Hellebuyck because during each of the past two games he's allowed at least four goals, including quite a few ugly ones - a pervasive lack of defensive responsibility throughout the Jets' roster considering that over the past two games that team has thrown defense under the bus - the above two aspects because put together put the Jets in serious danger of losing their current playoff series in no more than six games

In game 2 he was playing really good until that 3rd goal. I think its Colorado’s tenacity which allows them to find ways to beat him.

@@Hoovie9596 The Jets gave up the fewest goals this season so Hellebuyck and Laurent Boisoit shared the Jennings Trophy and Hellebuyck played the majority of the games and won the Vezina Trophy as well for being the best NHL goalie.

Helle's regular season numbers are based on all the teams he's faced. He doesn't face the best offense in the league (Avs) every night of the season. You gotta lower your expectations for the playoffs. The Avs are also REGULAR seasons' best offense but they have shown that Helle isn't an issue, yet.

Those things are not unfamiliar, they happen ever year in the playoffs. Start Brossoit game 3, he outplayed Hellebyuck last year in round one. Jets can't lose both games in Colorado. The regular season doesn't mean anything, once the playoffs start.

Toronto media loves to throw goalies under the bus. Helle is fine, aside from a couple soft ones, but he is playing against the highest scoring team in the nhl(regular season) the jets Defensive game is what needs to step up

AVS have no defence. The goalie bailed them out last game, but that was a fluke. I am glad Jets gave one charity win. Now I expect they will win the next 3.
