Recruiting right now is being severely damaged by being in the ACC. A lot of the top-level kids aren't interested in playing in the minor leagues, even if it's for a top team. Having said that, if we want to get back to winning national titles, our high school recruiting has to get better. You can't rely on the portal to get everything you need and, if you doubt that, look at our current WR room. If we had a Keon Coleman level player there this year, we would be a legitimate title contender. But, we don't. And there wasn't anyone in the portal who was on that level. There were only a couple of WRs who even would have played for us...we got Benson and tried for a couple of others we couldn't land, because pretty much everyone wanted them. If you rely too heavily on the portal, these things are going to happen.

I don't think it's unreasonable to expect FSU to pull in a top 5 recruiting class or even a top 3. They have been there and done that many times.

I think we are misapplying old era thinking to a new era called NIL & Power conferences. In this new era, expecting FSU to continue to be able to entice players to the ACC in the future is unreasonable. We must get out to be back there.

As of right now there is a 35% chance of rain for the Tallahassee area... So if you ever lived in Tallahassee or North Florida in general it's going to rain. Likely thunderstorms. The report says possible isolated storms but we all know there could be a pop-up storm 50 miles away and the NCAA will call for a weather delay. 🙄 Link is playing chess.

I love every show under the Warchant umbrella. But they should rename this show “Whine Up Warchant” and not Wake Up, cause my boys Aslan and Corey whine whine whine all the damn time. But i love em!!!

I think they miss on a lot of the top recruits because of the pitch they use. The old "We'll get you to the league, but this is gonna be the hardest thing you've ever done," pitch doesn't appeal to high school kids like it does to transfers.
