Yes should count for min spend but might not get 8%. Best is to buy foodpanda gift cards through heymax which will get 8%: sethisfy.com/heymax Alternatively use DBS yuu which gives 17.5% for foodpanda

Does spending on other categories count towards the min. $600 spending per month or the min spend is strictly for the whitelisted MCC codes? Example, can I spend $50 on groceries just to meet $600 min spend? I understand that this grocery spend will be it get 8% cashback.

Yes non-8% retail spend can still count to the min spend.

Sorry, noob question, does HSBC Live+ record the spending from MCC list through contactless payment? Or do i have to use the physical card to pay all the time to register under the MCC list?

Doesn’t matter. Both contactless or physical card would work as long as the MCC matches

Public transport can use StanChart Smart. No min spend and 6%
