Hybrid Inverters are avaialble from global brands since 10 years with Anti Islanding certification and european standards. Europe , US, China & Australian Countries have been using this successfully for last 10 years.. TNEB GO is also accepting Hybrid inverter installation with net meter.. with anti islanding certifications from established Labs similar to On Grid Inverters.. Client has to invest on good & established brand. MNRE & Govt Of India are investing huge in Hybrid Solar with Lithium battery in mega watt scale.. to manage the peak hour demand & TOD. This is a good and established technology ..

Use an UPS battery backup. When the electricity is shutdown, the solar system will naturally shutdown when using on-grid system, while the UPS battery backup with an individual inverter will supply electricity to the appliances connected to it.

When we use manual changeover for ON Grid and OFF Grid, no back feed will occur. Its 100% safe similar to how we use for genset

but what will happen if we manual changeover to on grid and went to sleep. bcos we usually use this option at night.. and if there is an interruption and line man attempts. just curious to know.

When it's in ON grid nothing to worry if there is no power in grid you won't get the power , line man can attend the fault. You may ask what will happen if changeover in OFF grid​, again nothing will happen bcoz your OFF grid power travel till the change over, it will stop there it self, further it will not move frm there hence nothing will happen to the line man@@kevinmuthu2063

One doubt, Now at every house , battery backup Inverters are in use for so many years. There also chances for the return of power to the Grid.
