Is Hypixel ACTUALLY Dying?

Hypixel is the biggest Minecraft server in the whole world. But many people think Hypixel is starting to die. While I agree that there have been many players that have left the server since the quarantine, I believe the player counts will level out. But the real question is: How will Hypixel continue to invigorate the Minecraft PVP community? While Hypixel still beats out servers like Mineplex, if no innovation continues, will Hypixel die? I am an avid player who has the MVP++ rank. Though I only recently started playing, I have found an amazing community and would hate to lose the many friends I have made on the server. Will Hypixel survive?

I totally agree, as long as a game gets decent updates, it won't die, but it just won't go up in player count

I think unless there’s another quarantine (let’s pray there’s not) the player count will remain pretty stagnant.

The player graph right now is more than the consistent player graph before the quarantine.

Yeah, I think new players assumed the player count was always really high when in reality it was much lower.

same here, even thought you can still find tons of people playing the game, alot of my friends have just moved on and idk y but theres just this knawing feeling that the server is dying, i have no idea where we are all getting it from but its just sad to see something so amazing go away so quickly ;c

Project for Hypixel: Season for Bedwars Like a new season could be every 1-2 month with new gens, new items... it could make Bedwars go back at their prime of 30k players... A PVP new game : "PVP Tournament Duel" We would need 32 players for each game and there will be 1v1 duel randomized. There'd be 16s of finale, 8s of finale, quarter finale, semi finale and the finale. And there will be a different kit for each round to keep the originality and the players. I think it could get hype and could get an average of 10k players since the PVP community is HUGE. What do you think?

Yeah I think that would be great! I just have little hope that they would implement something like this. I think there’s a lot of great ideas that come out of the community but it’s hard to make it into reality

Finally a good youtuber I totally agree cause hypixel averages 70k to 80k players during peak Time and it never used to do that in previous years all It got was like 20k to like 40k

I really miss technoblade for some reason. I was always a complete the game by defeating the dragon kinda guy but he made minecraft seem compititive to me.

I think is mainly due to people not playing a well-rounded amount of gamemodes on the server. Players mainly play the big names like Bedwars, Skywars and Skyblock with other gamemodes dying and being left in the dust. For many relaxed gamers, they cannot play most of these games due to the majority of players being focused on the games listed above which is a massive turn-off for many.
