I do believe toons being turned into twisteds cuz of strong or negative emotions. Like Shelly being left behind or being ignored. Glisten feeling so lonely. And so much more. Although you can see twisted glisten not attacking players when other toons give him attention. I guess he is aware of himself but not in full control. When glisten is mad he says something like “I can’t take it anymore..” or “it hurts” I guess he can’t control his emotions or control of his body. And the only toon is aware of being a twisted is Dandy. I might be wrong or not.

Based on your theory, dandy becomes overcome by the memories of the old gardensview and covers himself in the tapes that record those memories, which is why his twisted form is covered in tapes, or he feels like your ignoring him and reminding him about the fall of the gardensview center and uses the memories in the tapes to calm himself but it doesn’t work, it also ties into pebble being overcome by protecting his owner and his territory, Shelly turning twisted bc of the ignorance of her existence by others makes even more sense with your theory, glisten became overcome by his shattered ego and tries to calm down by being surrounded by other toons like how dandy tries to calm down with tapes, goob probably turned twisted by his hugs becoming more desperate causing accidents like his claws hurting the toons or he pulls to hard and chokes them on accident which made him obsess over controlling his hugs to the point where he loses his sanity and tries to hug you but will always end up hurting you which is why he cries and keeps his head down, although there could be other factors like being isolated from others or dandy rigging machines, but there’s still so much more to uncover, the games only in alpha and week said she’s done with writing out the full lore and is still placing down tiny crumbs of it in dialog and notes

Good theory my friend, but i see that main characters have a interesting reaction to the ichor, they some kind of mutating? + Every main character have their own sound. Sprout - sounds like a zombie (yeah); Vee - ofc she have a broken computer sound; pebble - angry dawg sounds; shelly - angry dinosaur/lion sounds; astro - space sounds (lol). From that we can know that main characters is have some other type of ichor in them?

This is an interesring theory, heres what i think each would be for each toon (feel free to make corrections) Poppy: Overcome by a grief of losing her friends or them leaving her behind Boxten: overcome by an unknown pressure which drove him koo koo (my guess is his social anxiety and his partial inability to speak up) Shrimpo: ....his anger bro, do i even need to say that Tisha: the need for everything to be tidy (she gets mad when you get in her way if cleaning) Toodles: her desire for fun (im unaure abt this one, but i say this bc in her file it says she has a low attention span) Cosmo: similar to sprout, his separation from his bsf Razzle and Dazzle: a huge desire of wanting to fit together with their vast personalities Brightney: im unsure about brightney's. My theory: Dandy took other toons in promise of permanent “happiness” and he put them into test chambers then put ichor inside and see what would happen to the toon. Causing the first twisted, Astro saw all of this and is guilty of himself not stopping Dandy. The twisted then breaks free and attacks Astro. When this happened, the ichor spread (which is what you see when you get hurt) from the twisted combined with the overwhelming guilt caused him to turn twisted as well. This then caused a chain reaction of other toons getting infected. And causing an outbreak. Hope you liked my theory!

I feel like the ichor causes them to be overwhelmed with something they experienced and left a huge impression on them. For example, Astro has experiences with dandy which is his best friend and most likely knew about the ichor operation, leaving a big impression and impact in his consciousness and memory. Since ichor is also the blood of the gods in Greek mythology, I infer that since toons aren’t gods but aren’t mortals either they can’t handle ichor for it is the blood of something they can’t even comprehend. The toon handlers were most likely unaware of this, which is why garden view was abandoned in such a rush. I feel dandy accidentally got into contact with ichor, because the toon handlers or something else left an impression on him he started to overthink from the ichor, he couldn’t handle it and caused gardenview shut down. I’m pretty sure he”inherited” the ichor operation because the toon handlers were the ones to start it in the first place, even borrowing a loan from the bank to hold such an operation. What if, the ichor is making the toons become god like beings? In their twisted forms, whatever limbs they are missing is held up by ichor, ichor holds them together. Ichor creates the perfect physical, and mental body to create something like a god. The only one we’ve seen that can handle ichor is Dandy, the starter of the ichor operation. If they become gods maybe, just maybe their toon handlers will come back for them.

Now that I realized it, this kinda matches up to my theory lol (yap session warning) Basically, if each toon has ichor that behaves as blood, damage caused to the person with excessive ichor is replaced with that liquid. For example, Cosmo could’ve gotten their arm ripped off just to be replaced with aggressive claws. T. Astro as well, has ichor stains on his nightcap. Whenever he walks that cap moves by itself, like a mutation. Each twisted may be a result of physical trauma. But what about pebble? Dandy was most likely experimenting with pebble first, disassembling his limbs which ended up being held together by ichor. (The black lines that act as his neck, etc.) Other toons that are more messy may be also tested on or tampered on from ichor causes

Honestly I believe the ichor is just extremely tinkered with to make it like an infection or mutation like a parasite that enters your body without noticing or just appears. Perhaps something else is making the ichor mutated or turned into a form of a parasite that just mimics ichor or changes it.

theory for twisted vee: you know how the twisted that are crying out of guilt, right? vee is one of the twisteds that aren't crying or has a scared or crazed expression. vee has been angered by dandy [possibly] and had been absolutely destroyed by t pebble[what I think]. beside her mangle posture, then how did her limbs get elongated? pebble has ichor for legs. vee also has a tremble in her idle. she slows down toons [slowness II], which might imply that you have to complete all mastry quests for brightney, might have a connection. brightney's walk speed is slow. twisted vee's debuff reminds me of brightney's walk speed. both brightney and vee have scan abilities. that's why they are scanners. when you miss a skillcheck[pjsk thingy u time], she can hear it ANYWHERE on the floor, even if shes by the fake ele. this implies vee's passive. spotlight steal [I think its called that]. it highlist the machine nearest to her. maybe that's why she can hear a missed skillcheck anywhere on the floor. Well, i kinda agree with it.i also learnt that the ichor could’ve acted as lead, which is a very toxic element and causes you to bleed and have some “phycological” disorders or something like that, if I remember correctly, just that the twisteds bleed ichor instead of blood. Since dandy kinda obsessed with the tapes found on each floor, he’ll prob get us to get it for him, pretending to be our friend when he really just wants tapes. Some of the toons were probably infected with this ichor earlier and would’ve shown signs, such as Teagan and Gigi as well as the main toons having ichor hearts. The ichor splat (prob) came from the twisteds, since most of them have ichor on them. (Twisted pebble’s legs seem to be made of it) the crazed expressions of twisted scraps, toodles and Finn as well as their vertical pupils, suggesting that they have been corrupted not by their feelings, but the ichor itself over time, becoming no more than feral animals, just a former shell of what they once were, and no more feelings left. But that’s just what i prefer to believe since i watched another theory video AND did some research myself 😅

I have a very similar idea. Basically, we are clones made of Ichor that dandy made while the twisteds are the original toons. Now, following your theory I believe that stronger emotions are more likely to take over when Ichor is present in your body. Perhaps it has a rabies effect or something like that where it will try to control your brain especially the emotional center which would drag your thinking process and makes stronger emotions more likely to take over. In my AU, I have a fantasy like mix where the Ichor we bleed and extract comes from the gods of Manipulation (made up name) since it seems to control the twisteds. And Dandy has consumed so much Ichor that the God of Manipulation was able to get its own consciousness somewhat restored. As more and more Ichor is consumed, the stronger and more intelligent he becomes. However, my fantasy addition is that Astro with his magic in his purist form can cure others overcome with Ichor (which can only be pure when he doesn’t have any Ichor in his body). I actually think that maybe Astro and Teagan are trying to purposely slow us down because it seems like Dandy NEEDS those tapes for something and will kill us if we don’t buy from him while Astro will literally EAT your own progress on a machine when you fail a skill check which Ichor what’ll help Dandy make more clones and thus more Ichor and tapes. It’s possible they’re already trying to stop Dandy but they’re doing it slowly.

I have a theory is that ichor is a substance that if found in a proper body can bring it to life, so the toons are artificial bodies brought to life from ichor witch can lead to theory’s to what there made out of if actual flesh at all, or how they tick on the inside because knowing a poor mental state is an actual issue they can suffer from then they might have a proper brain witch can mean possibly mean other organs and maybe even a full skeletal structure and knowing they feel pain a full nerve system and if that’s the case…where did the creators of the toons get these parts : l

I agree with this theory. Also, large stress levels can actually cause health issues. If you have health issues and there's almost NO WAY to find out what's causing it, it might just be a huge amount of stress. Also, the ichor is probably just a neat way to censor blood, and the toons still have the red stuff inside, but ichor also makes a big part of that. Also, some twisteds were overwhelmed by ichor, and that leads me to believe all twisteds were overwhelmed by ichor at some point, and the little info on what happened to them (sprout being seperated, glisten having his ego crushed, astro being overwhelmed by guilt) points towards exactly what situation they got into to make themselves become a twisted, like what happened before they became a twisted.

I have my own weird but convincing theory: Dandy wanted to test what would happen if Toons had too much ichor in them (since their blood is made out ichor), this theory in the video could also be a part of my theory when you talk about Astro and Teagen, Astro is filled with grief since he let Dandy do the testing on him and Teagen is filled with greed because she now can't get anything anymore because of what she has become. My theory could also be true since you could play as multiple of the same character and you can get 2 or more of the same twisted in a run, meaning that Dandy (or the owner of the gardenview) was creating clones of the Toons and tested on them to see how they would react when they had too much ichor inside of them.

Toons are make with less Ichor. I think that long ago each toons are placed one by one every floors by humans for a dark reason. That reason Humans don't want toons seeing self. And They banned their jobs, museum and more them other toons are talking other and other toons just messing around to find somethings more like Gigi. They found a ichor they only remember that rules by humans like how it talk but humans forget the ichor are banned inside each floors too. They try it just playing some ichor so much they forget about memory and stronger than original toons. Ichor is the blood that flows through the veins of gods, and anyone who is not a god and tries to use it will be corrupted. My personal theory is, yes, Ichor is the enemy here, and no, Ichor is not the blood of the toons because that would imply that they are gods (They're not). The only toon that might be one is Dandy, considering he can control Ichor and actually use it a lot more effectively than other toons, hence why he one shots anyone no matter what. Dandy being a god could also be supported by his stats. All of his character's stats are 5 stars, which is extremely op. No wonder he's an admin character... But enough with Dandy being a god. What I'm trying to say is that all of the other toons accidentally ran into Ichor and it corrupted them because they weren't gods or used Ichor as a last resort to get revenge, get something they really wanted, or just to escape, knowing they would never be able to control themselves again.

What I think it is, Dandy wanted to try to see what it is like for a toon to have extra ichor on him/her, so he grabbed one of the toons, and poured ichor on them... It didn't stop there as some people like Shelly tried to escape but was damaged by dandy, grabbed and poured MORE ICHOR on the toon, Dandy one time tried it himself, but he knew that he was the one who controls the ichor, and he can be twisted when he wants to. I think the first toon that tried to escape was Scraps, because she has almost no ichor on her but her cup on her tail is cracked

My theory is that Astro is overcome by guilt because since he was dandys best friend he probably saw something he shouldn't and thats why twisted astros crying because his own best friend betrayed him.

I think the ichor strengthens their emotions. I believe that they have regular blood, and when they are infected by Ichor, it mixes with their blood, giving that black splatter when injured or upon death. Ichor in itself is known as "Gods blood" so we can infer its some type of god-like giving power type of substance. I don't really think they originally have ichor in their bodies, but if they do, it is in a different, subconcentrated amount, different to the ichor dandy infects the twisteds with.

i think that not only is ichor their blood but its ink. Think about it. What type of blood in any animal is black? Also they are cartoons and they may have been drawn with ink and when they came to life somehow they kept that ink inside them as their blood. Another thing it could be is oil since i figured out ichor could be a good energy source which would also mean that the toons are machines which is less likely because we never see nay robot parts inside any twisteds or toons except for vee. Another theory i think is that dandy either regrets the ichor operation or was forced to. He collects tapes which could have his memories from so long ago when everything was fine. Im guessing maybe the building lost popularity or something happened and they decided to kill all the toons. Or another thing that happened would be something accidentally happened which made them all into twisteds. Like as you said in the video getting swallowed by feelings and purposefully swallowing or dumping ichor on themselves. Another thing is that they may have accidentally gotten killed by breaking a machine. Im thinking its more likely to be staged because of some event. Dandy is for some reason the only one who can control it. Maybe they spared him for helping or tried but failed. Last thing is that the capsules are probably the dna and blood of the twisteds. This is kind of sad considering someone would have to dig into their skin and fill up the tubes. I dont exactly know why this exists. Another thing is that the machines could power the elevator. And that they are also filled with blood. Maybe ichor is A good power source or dandy just needs his chores done.

There's a theory of how we know and a possible ending in Dandy's world is that when you go to the description you will see this "See A Very Exciting and Unforgettable Show" you can see that S A V E U S are all caps meaning Save us so there could an ending in Dandy's world that we save all the toons from becoming twisted and figure out if Ichor is the real and true villain behind all of this or not also the creator confirm that Dandy is not the villain but he did do some evil stuff and also most people assume Dandy is friends with everyone but he's not he's only close with Astro he doesn't talk with anyone else beside him so i'm guessing they known each other for a long time? and we can assume the toons were humans too so Astro and Dandy could be childhood best friends also the reason why Dandy ask for tapes and exchange for stuff back is probably because when he goes down he watch all the tapes since he doesn't talk with anyone beside Astro

I have a dumb theory: The toons we are playing as are clones and The twisteds are The originals,The toon were created to replais The twisteds and after The whatever happend that caused The fasility to shut down (I think The twisteds escaped contament when i say contament I dont mean The toon rooms like poppy playtime and Banban level of contament) and there handlers took The toons with them expect dandy there are 3 possibilites his handler left him behind,he sacrificed him self for toons pebbles or his handlers or he refused to leave here is some evidence that the handlers took the toons with them in the elaveitors interacsons they say that they want to do something at home it means they aren’t living in the streets but in a house they have there homes they have there property this is my evidence More theory’s in another video
