Is Illusionary Weaponry Good for farming? - Guild Wars Mesmer Test Farm

i remember playing IW build in RA with Me/W flurry and shield bash. because flurry is the best 33% attack speed, and u don't actually receive 25% less dmg, because you are not dealing physical damage. also it goes through block/blind so it would always pressure monks and would counter blindbot eles. In PvE i see no use of it, especially with scythe, because now where you would proc 3 on hit effects with scythe, you don't proc any, because your attacks don't actually hit.

In Nightfall, in the desolation region, in the "The Shattered Ravines" area there is an NPC: "Primeval King Jahnus" He is pretty close to the entrance to the "Joko's Domain" area. The king has the quest: "Destroy the Ungrateful Slaves" At the quest get ghosts and you have to kill these before they can kill the king. I made the quest earlier with 55 HP monk. From time to time, the ghosts drop the rare Dead Sword. Maybe works better with your build. As usual: Quest does not give away. After completing the opponents, change the area to reset the quest. King again appeal to a restart of the quest. Repeat until the inventory is full.

There's some videos about this build on BogusDudeGW's channel: kzbin.infosearch?query=IW Note the use of Sympathetic Visage in some of the videos, to drain the energy of the healers. Might improve the viability of certain spots.

Would probably work on trolls outside Droks. Again, better ways to do it, but could be a fun spin on an old farm.

I remember at one point their was a...Warrior? Build i think that was meant to use it to clear Graspings + Smites in UW. Though that was a long time ago and i can't find any info about it in the pvx archives.

Used to solo UWsmite run with my Mesmer using IW, wasnt fast but was solo :p going back 14 years or so i think.

Maybe it would be good for Celestial/Feather Farm from Naphui quater if you take the mission and kill the tengues not the mantids farm. also maybe daggers for single target instead of scyth since Illusionary weapon would benefit alot from attackspeed buffs

hmmmmm... Only thing is, they interrupt casting. 55 might work but you would need to be lucky.
