India needs to stop embarrassing itself by claiming to be a superpower. India is not a superpower. Having the third largest economy by purchasing power parity does not make you a superpower. India is still a very poor country on a per capita basis. India still has over 100 million people living in absolute poverty. India still has very poor infrastructure, despite some modest progress. India still has very poor education. India still has a huge pollution problem. India still has a huge sanitation problem. India still has poor human rights, especially with regards to women. India still has the caste system, despite being banned. India still has serious ethnic problems. The country lacks unity; it doesn't even have a single unifying language. India does not have a strong industrial or manufacturing base. India does not have a strong technological base. Even in its strongest area, software, India has no significant software achievement (can you name one important Indian app?). India is far from having a world-class military. Number of active military personnel means nothing by itself. India is poorly armed. India faces so many challenges and it still wants to brag??? All talk and no action.

As an Indian i must say most of the indians who brag about Isro know actually very less about it,they are more interested in showing that india is a global power and hinduism above all, rather than actually seeking interest about space science and isro,and most of them think that Isro has success because Indians seek hinduism and pray to it,not because of the hardworking low paid isro scientists and its engineers,my highs school chemistry teacher was telling me to follow hinduism and i will get success when i asked why he said see Isro succededd because it prayed to hinduism which other space agencies didn't i was so angry and ashamed that this person teaches me chemistry,i myself dont care whether India's space research is superpower and comes into elite club,but i seek interest in isro and space science and i hope isro grows

In China there is no democracy; if they want to build a bullet train, nobody can oppose it, but in India there is lots of opposition to even getting land. We are slowly growing. We have kicked out China in the African two-wheeler market. We are now making a world-class EV Car. We are also working on semiconductor technology.We have been building world-class roads. Under Modi's government, this became possible.In the next ten years we will grow like a giant.I agree growth is slow. but it is due to democracy.we can't force like China

uS invested in other countries before they went to China 40 yrs ago but it was their investments in China that paid off the most for them . It was what made the amurican companies top 500 fortune list globally as well as kept uS recession at bay n inflation low for many yrs. So uS rapproachment with China at the time after decades of sanctions/trades blockades on China was as much beneficial to uS as it was to China.
