Victims are targeted because of their real or perceived membership of a group, not randomly .

You shouldnt start a war with someone 100 times stronger than you if you arent ready for the consequences. of course the weaker enemy is going to have more deaths. - if israel had proportional response its exactly what terrorists want because their ideology is to trade lives. - hamas numbers have been proven to be fabricated. For example a study done by analysts that proved the numbers to be essentially fake: The "women and children" death-toll was 7:3 and the weekly reported deaths were nearly entirely linear. Which by its R-squared and P-value make it nearly statistically improbable, if not impossible, and the first of its kind in any war's "casualty statistics.' - hamas pumping numbers ( For example they said 500 ppl died in hospital bombing but it turned out to be a PIJ misfired rocket on the parking lot and only 10-50 ppl died according to EU intelligence) - hamas forcing palestinians to stay and preventing them from evacuating, in certain cases even massacred an entire road of palestinians trying to flee (and counted it as israeli deaths of course) - palestinians wanting to martyr because they dont evacuate the buildings that israel warns them theyre gonna bomb [there is evidence for this] there is also sahih hadith which states dying by falling building makes u a martyr. - complex urban warfare, densely populated areas, hamas dressing as civilians, and hamas using human shields, hospitals, schools, all lead to higher civilian casualties. It is actually a miracle how little civilians israel managed to kill in pursuit of hamas and hostage rescue. Hamas wants to maximize civilian deaths on both sides. - hamas has broken every ceasefire and their leader admitted that ceasefires are meaningless to them. - Hamas wont surrender and return the hostages because they want to maximize civilian deaths. Israel still has rockets fired at them to this very day, still has hostages to rescue, and still has an enemy that didnt surrender, hence there is no reason for them to stop fighting. Maybe Hamas shouldve just accepted one of the million peace deals given to them if they cared about their people. - Question: are brits the bad guys in ww2 cuz germans had higher death count? Imagine choosing sides based on kill score and picking the losing sides. This is the absurd western mindset, which Hamas takes full advantage of. Finally, we have to remember how warfare works. all wars in the past had an imbalance of death count. What people are essentially arguing is that they want to equalize the deaths on both sides, if hamas had an equally powerful army then both sides wouldve had way over 100 thousand deaths and no one would complain about the power imbalance. What theyre essentially arguing for beneath the surface is that they want hamas, a terrorist organization, to be more powerful and to have more Israeli deaths, to "even the odds". Which is a childish view of warfare. Examples of past wars: afghanistan 2k americans dead vs 120k afghans iraq 4k americans vs 1million iraqis Instead of bombing the entirety of gaza to oblivion as any other nation wouldve done, Israel chooses to risk its highly trained soldiers , these soldiers dont deserve to die for a war they did not start.

With all due respect, the second clip actually demonstrates a misunderstanding from the interviewee on what a genocide is. He states "Russia doesn't seem to be attempting to eradicate the Ukrainian population as a WHOLE - which is what genocide is". At the very beginning you, Hatun, read that it doesn't need to be an attempt to COMPLETELY eliminate a population. Even attempting to eradicate a 'part' of that population may be enough to constitute genocide, and I'm not going to wait for some international lawyers to tell me that over 30,000 people dead isn't 'a part'.
