used cars in my area and the surrounding states has only continued to increase for the last 2 years.

Ouch. I'm sorry to hear that. In our area the last 8 months has seen huge decreases in asking prices because available volume increased drastically

@@Johnnyscarcarereviews I appreciate the response, and the video. It seems it will likely be necessary for me to travel at least a few states away to find something that isn't extremely inflated and rebuilt. I'm located in the western states. Being a bit obsessive, i've been spending way too much time looking at prices for that time frame as I just cannot afford the way things are. During that time, the availability of clean title cars has reduced to the point the rebuilt titles are going for a premium, and constant 'dealers' are popping up with the extreme influx of Middle Eastern and African immigrants we are experiencing, which seems to also be why availability on used cars seems to be so decreased, but this is just my assumption. Anything with a clean title that is 'desirable', like Toyotas, even with 100k+ miles, are still going for nearly as much if not more than they did when they were new, both from private party and dealerships.
