I feel kind of sad for Ruby. She working there must mean that her family completely banned her from the family business and haven't accepted her. Even though what Ruby did was unacceptable, Celeste exaggerated things and that makes me think that either Ruby's family didn't listen to her or they're alienating her more for her identity, as her sister did with Willa, than for harassing Saffron. And there's a zillion reasons to hate Ruby, but her sexual identity is not one of them. Besides, the way it was portrayed in the series makes it feel like it was a mistake from forever ago, where the only person who couldn't move on was Celeste. Like, Saffron was more hurt from Heidi's missing her prom than she ever was from Ruby's harassment, but Celeste kept on hating for like 2 seasons, and Ruby's been paying for it for like 3 seasons now?

@@FlunkSeries it'd be nice if she genuinely apologized to those she has hurt and finally found her place in the world by accepting herself on her own, or finding true friends or a lover who helps her do so.

@@FlunkSeries Like anyone who starts out oblivious to, or repressing, their sexuality--&/or showing homophobia--Ruby needs some counseling, some self-examination, and as she's still new to it, she would probably want to explore where she fits on the bi/gay continuum. Also, she has been truly vicious and callous in the past...will she get help with that or remain a b-tch at heart? And, of course, most viewers want to see her, and every other woman on the show, have some romance, preferably with another woman. Maybe, as with "Sex Lives of College Girls" (HBO), she had a crush on someone smart and caring (Saffron), then dates a shallow, mean, arrogant, hot girl similar to herself, but then doesn't like what she sees reflected. Or you do what FLUNK often does, pair her with someone she really doesn't match, perhaps someone she initially dislikes, and it gets messy, but the viewers ship it anyway because we just crave seeing girl/girl romance. So..."enemies to lovers" trope? Possible candidates from the past: Ingrid, Heidi, Celeste. Or someone new. Or _maybe_ she gets some therapy, and _falls for the therapist_ . She does seem to have a bad habit of falling for people who aren't really into her and are unavailable.

@@nodoboho OMG, do not pair her with Celeste, please. If Celeste were at the moral position to judge or give advice, her interactions with Ruby could have been an opportunity for her to grow up and better herself, but the opportunity was wasted because Celeste is a hypocrite. Heidi is already taken, so that's not an option either. And please, don't pair her with a therapist, we already saw that plot when Stella fell for her teacher. I'd have liked Ruby + Ingrid, but she's not in the show anymore. However, I think pairing her with someone who she could have bullied, now that she's the one at disadvantage, could indeed lead to some self-reflection and positive change in her life. And finally, I don't think Ruby has a tendency to fall for people who isn't into her. We've only seen her show genuine interest towards Saffron, who initally misled her, and Willa, who was indeed into her but lost interest when Celeste convinced her that Ruby was a sexual offender. So, at least the second time, her feelings were reciprocated.

These characters have better personalities than the last 7 flunk characters that were introduced. I'm so excited to watch this. I feel like this is gonna be really good. Plus I love that the character Ruby plays in it as well
