For the price? You can't go wrong buying Aero Precision receivers! I've used 'em for years. And so do most members of our Club. Never a complaint.

Just built an Aero Precision and it has an extremely tight fit between the upper and lower. The build went together fairly easy and am impressed with the quality of it.

The best uppers and lowers I’ve built on for the price. Aero is local to me and they are great people that honestly want to get top notch product out at a reasonable price to the masses. They also have uppers that come standard with the forward assist omitted. Even a special variant of the M4E1 named “Thunder Ranch” that had direct input from Clint from, you guessed it, Thunder Ranch. I’m not sure where you are from 2A friend, but, don’t let them gut your state like they’re doing to us here in Washingfornia.

100% agree that Aero is the best quality for price point that we've found. Iowa is a very 2A friendly state but sometimes we have to battle with the wacko's who make there way over here from IL (specifically Chicago) who think their feelings trump our rights. Keep fighting the good fight in WA!

I have several of these lowers and several upper/lower sets. You might find "fancier" ones out there but these are every bit as good as the few really expensive ones I have. The only thing this lower doesn't really have anything special for is a right side bolt release.

Completely agree, but at this price point these are actually pretty fancy :-) Thanks for watching Mavrik.

Only gripe is I really don’t like the machined trigger guard. Most of the builds I do in my shop people want more customization in that area. S&W is the same way for a lot of their lowers.
@Aerospacearms Жыл бұрын
Yeah, that's understandable since there's some pretty sweet trigger guards out there, but there's a trade off when it comes to the amount of abuse a pinned trigger guard vs. a machined one can handle. I know there's some different options with more secure pins/screws for the standard trigger guard you can buy, along with built-in guards on the pistol grip if you don't mind that look. We still lean toward the more durable option of just having it integrated in the lower when asked what we suggest.

My only gripe about my aero upper and lower m4e1 combo is that the upper receiver and where the atlas handguard meet has a gap and apparently that's normal Even for aero prebuilts

I have met a few people from NJ and in my experience most of the ones who leave are really nice. So unless you have a lot of family there you can probably leave for a more friendly 2A state and have your permit and get trained before getting a permit in NJ. And in most states no permit is needed for a long gun. The "Blue" states just like to punish law abiding citizens for the crimes of others. BTY love the Battleship NJ!

Hi there, do you have play or wiggle from the upper and lower when installed? With out tightening the adjustment tension screw.
@Aerospacearms2 жыл бұрын
Most M4E1 sets fit together with very little to no play in them. The big benefit of the tension screw is when matching the lower to other companies uppers who may not have the same tolerances and you get a decent amount of play. We'd suggest sticking to the same brand of uppers and lowers to drastically lessen the likelihood of excess play between your upper and lower.

@@Aerospacearms i have the black in a 16inch with the rone and a fde in a 10.5 i never even tightened up on the screw and mine have no wiggle ,
@Aerospacearms2 ай бұрын
@@michaelmitchell2243 That's great to hear and is very typical for those M4E1 FDE lowers (the cerakote thickness eats up all play between the two), but it's a tolerance and quality control game that all manufacturers play. It's the reason why you can buy a lower from one company and basically the exact same lower for $70 more from another company. Quality control = time and time = $, plus the cost of keeping the machines and bits all fresh, so your tolerances don't fluctuate = more time and $. There's also a throughput variable in there somewhere but that matters less in this discussion. I stand by saying that Aero Precision does a good job balancing overhead costs with producing high value products at a great price.

I always thought forged was better than billit.
@Aerospacearms2 жыл бұрын
Yes and no... :-) Forged lowers are absolutely stronger if you're comparing apples to apples, but if you're comparing a billet lower with an integrated trigger guard with less material removed in certain areas (more bulk), it's going to likely be stronger compared to your standard lightweight forged lower. Especially, the weak points like the little tabs where you insert the pin to install the trigger guard on a standard lower. Part of the reason why we did the video is because Aero Precision has the best of both worlds with their M4E1 lower. There may be some more expensive options out there that match what Aero has done but bang for buck, the M4E1 is hard to beat.
