2:58 That fine line is actually where a hot *edge creaser* was used. This typically happens along leather edges that are 'too fine' to edge burnish or protect with acrylics. Raw edges leave a product vulnerable to damage and its always prudent to finish them some way. As crazy as it may sound, many crafters have forgotten this and use the creaser more for decoration these days than practicality. Personally, mine sits in a tool box gathering dust. My perspective is that if a leather gets split down so fine that edge creasing becomes necessary, the leather has lost most of it's quality (split too finely) and the leather is only suitable as lining. Have a good one Mark. ☕👍🏼

Leather and thread, 2 materials that's enough for a great wallet. Too many wallets nowadays are into metal, magnet, plastic and zippers!

I really like your Reviews, concise and to the point. I now own the version 2 of this wallet and I am loving it, I would like to know if you could suggest a competitor to this wallet? Would appreciate it!

Nice wallet. But I feel this form factor was perfected with Craft and Lore’s Port Wallet.

The craft and lore is a wrap wallet made with one piece of leather and doesn’t have a pull tab. I would say they are pretty different.

How to take care of these wallet? By using a mink oil or using beeswax?

I’m seriously considering buying this wallet, but I’m concerned about the central card holding slot. I saw a review where if you just put 1-3 cards in that slot (after the leather has been stretched from usage), it easily falls out. Anyone who might have encountered this and could advise?

Might buy this one.

Looks nice. I think the heavier leather is an improvement. A better improvement would be $35. I want small wallet to carry everyday. It just seems a little slight. Maybe two more cards capacity so when I use cash I have enough room to store the change I get back. 6 cards 4-6 cash please.

Nice, but in my opinion, for minimal carry nothing can hold a candle to a Ridge Wallet

Those wallets are not comparable to leather wallets I would say. Most people that watch these reviews are into leather.

I've just received mine. Sorry to say, it's a disappointment. The leather is rough and scratchy, in fact it doesn't look, feel or smell like leather at all. The carry experience is fine, but it's nowhere near the quality feel of my Slim Sleave. I have Wally card sleave from Distil Union which looks and feels much better and is much more satisfying to use. As ever, Mark, the only thing I can't fault is your thorough review!

I would never call these “wallets”; more a card holder. Like a holder of library or metro cards, or any none essential cards.
