IS IT CAYDEN LINDSTROM OR BUST FOR THE MONTREAL CANADIENS?

With the #5 overall selection in this June's NHL Draft (at the Sphere in Las Vegas, Nevada), several draft experts are saying the Montreal Canadiens want to upgrade both their size and skill level at forward.
Is Cayden Lindstrom the pick for Montreal or will he be selected sooner? Would Montreal call Chicago Columbus or Anaheim to try to move up to select Lindstrom or would they select Berkly Catton, Tij Iginla or a great defensive prospect like Artyem Levshumov or Zeev Buium?

I like Lindstrom but if he was good as Eric Lindros....he would go 1st overall. Unfair comparison. Lindstrom is more comparable to Quinton Byfield.

I dunno…when Lindstrom is fully healthy he is very Lindros-esque…that unique size/skill/determination combination is hard to come by…he only played half a season and he still may go 2nd…I think Lindstrom is more aggressive than Byfield but Byfield is definitely good and coyld replace Kopi in the future as the Captain…thanks for watching….who ya think goes #2? I'm thinking Chicago takes Demidov but wouldn't be surprised if they take Levshunov because high end right shot d men are almost impossible to find.

Columbus takes Lindstrom. Montreal picks Iginla.

I think the Ducks go Levshunov or Silayev so Lindstrom may have a chance...I think CBJ needs help on the back on too..

I am watching him at the memorial Cup and he has some holes in his game that I am noticing for the first time...as skilled as he is, he needs to play better in his D zone...he also takes some poor angles when closing gaps...thanks for watching dont be a stranger! who do you think goes to Montreal? are they your favorite team? thanks again and lets talk soon!

@@ClearingTheBenches well im a habs fan .i clicked on your video because i like to encourage habs fans that put in the effort . unlike other habs fans i covet a d in this years draft .i have parekh and yakemchuck singled out atm . imo levshunov will drop because chicago takes demidov . im also not high on lindstrom but do like basha .would like the habs to take basha with their second pick if they go with a d at 5 . unless they trade the 5th that is gohabsgo i guess i can give you a sub .but i have very strong opinions about the habs. that sometimes run contrary to everyone elses . if you can handle that . ill stick around until you say someting that bugs me so badly i leave . k?

@@habinations Im someone who appreciates other peoples opinions especially when they “think outside the box” so dont be shy about telling it like it is in your eyes! I really like that in a fan of any team! As a kid growing up in the late 70s the Habs always made me jealous of their players skill levels and the overall team success…Lafleur Robinson Schutt were guys I liked…have a great day hit me up again soon!

I feel Lidstrom might be the guy the Habs NEED to be good because of his size but I am not saying he will be that good he might end up just another ho hum low impact player.. I do not think much of Iginla or Sennecke I feel they are average players you would pick in the second round. I agree Tor needs defense but can they really wait a couple years because imo they are frustrated and very close to chaning the roster.So I feel Tor needs a D man right now that can step in and play top 4 or top 2. If I was MTL Hughes I would make an off the charts incredible trade to acquire Marner for Hutson but Tor would have to maintain 2 mil of the contract.Tor would get their fast skating puck mover similar to Reilly but an even better skater while MTL gets a speedy offensive forward that could skate well along with Suzuki and Cole making for a quick line. It would be a fair deal because both teams getting small players sure both would like bigger guys for the playoffs but MTL doesn't have anything to offer other than maybe Matheson.

Naw, not even close. Lindros was an outstanding Junior. Might go number one this year if he was up for grabs, definitely number 2 if not..

Me too! I met him once in LA (he was outside of Dr. Frank Jobe's office) and he was eating an entire pizza by himself...when I tried to talk to him he made it very clear that the pizza, and not me, was his friend!
