Good job dude! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Informative KZbin channel, not just talking about women and the party scene in Colombia. Much appreciated.

In Medellin we are disgusted and repudiated every tourist who comes with that mentality of fascination with PABLO ESCOBAR, because many of them do not know that he was a murderous narco-terrorist who only brought misfortune to the city, so much so that for his Medellin he was the most violent city in the world between 1985 to 1995, so imagine the damage it caused to the city? I would say that 95% of the city is disgusted with PABLO ESCOBAR, the few who admire him are the ignorant, those who did not live through that time of horror and those who profit from the narcotours.

I am watching Pablo Escobar on Netflix now, they show him in a positive light as a family man who cared about the poor. It is totally opposite of what I heard or thought of him. I like the series so far. I am from India.

WELCOME TO MEDELLIN 🎉On March 17, TIME magazine included Medellin among the 50 best destinations in the world in 2023. And in January THE NEW YORK TIMES also included Medellin among the 50 best destinations in the world in 2023. In addition, TIMEOUT declared the LURELES neighborhood in Medellín the coolest in the world in 2023. ❤ Medellin is the #1 city in quality of life in Colombia, it has already surpassed Cartagena in international tourists, also Medellin is an intelligent tourist destination and is a special district of science, technology and innovation.

That woman in the black dress, is she a politician or something? It's just she was speaking in a such formal and, what would you call it, elevated language that it made me think, you know
@BtheNomad10 ай бұрын
She has a very impressive way of speaking indeed!

Right? That was as good a rehearsed speech you could do and yet it's just an on the spot interview. I guess he just found that one person who's been WAITING to answer this question haha
@cboy03948 ай бұрын
Definitely not rehearsed, she's just an educated boomer. My family is Colombian, my aunts from Colombia speak exactly like her. They're like uber proud (somewhat uber nationalist) Colombians. Asking them anything about the country will result in a drawn out monologue on the positives of the country.@@ThatBigCactus

@@BtheNomad Nothing impressive about her bro, she just spoke a bunch of word salad and avoided the question.

Some of us out here use your videos for spanish learning. I as wondering if you could us spanish learners a favor, could you use auto-generated spanish transripts. Your interviews on the street are excellent! Thank you.

Ask them about their relationship with venezuelans. It would be interesting. I have venezuelan acquaintances living in Colombia who have experienced a lot of xenofobia from colombians. They have great difficulties finding a job or a place to live just because they are from venezuela.

I am Colombian and I agree, they are discriminated against because many come here to commit crimes.

Additionally, if you meet a colombian tourist don't mention right away about Pablo Escobar or cocaine, it is irritating. Maybe mention other things first, and if the conversation goes deeper or if it is a friend of you then go ahead :)
