Things like tire pressure and rack customization are real major features I want to see get moved to Snowrunner. Overall depending on what scouts are offered I might be interested, if they had heavy scouts like the F-750 then I would be able to play in my preffered style still.

I hope by adding the mudrunner name in the title that there would be an actual engine simulation with rpm and manual gears. Although the UI in the trailer seemed identical to snowrunner which has me very skeptical.

Hopefully expeditions will infuse some freshness into the formula. Moving loads from A to B, has kind of lost it's luster at least in how limited the mechanic has become in Snowrunner.

The Runner series and soon to be Expeditions series are sort of going to be like Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon, 2 games with the same style, but for different crowds Also I got news that all the features from Expeditions will be coming to Snowrunner in Year 4 Edit: Also I think the drone will be similar to the hot air balloons in Mad Max (the game), where you can spot stuff and if you don't spot something then that's on you, I think it adds a bit more skill to the game

i dont really mind if its a cash cow, its amazing, the game takes actual weeks if you play like me to complete, literally 3 weeks in, a month, and i wasn't even done with the base campaign, i have yet to get to the dlc's, i love it

I'm the same, I make sure that I complete every secondary task first before finishing main tasks, and it's amazing. However I do purchase only the best DLCs only, especially when it comes to vehicles, as I use mods. But I do buy map expansions as well.

Snow runner had issue. The transmission in game is BROKEN. And lazy devs don’t care or want fix it. Cus real manual transmission does not shift from 5th gear then down to 1st gear. Cus if you did that in any Truck, you blow transmission or engine/clutch or break something. Every other car or truck game gets transmission correctly. But snow runner has broken transmission.

I wish that there can be Competitive Multiplayer as in, 2 teams competing on finishing different objectives on the map, and you can compete on the number of objectives completed, the shortest time, the most amount of money earned, etc etc maybe trucks and trailers will be locked to each team, so there is a race to capture the trucks and trailers on the map... watchtowers would have to be captured separately by each team... there could be some strategy for maps where some objectives are locked behind other objectives ... like, do you go and repair the bridge, or are you sure the other team is going to do it , so you can prepare a different trailer and cross the bridge immediately and capture the objective on the other side

Glad to see a new game focusing on scouts - currently with the strong off road trucks and abilities, I rarely have to pull out a scout. The off road vehicles are better performers generally. The dev's could also consider 1) a space based game set on a new planet (Mars?) with new mechanics and missions, and 2) a long haul highway based game - the highway trucks are never used and would like to haul some loads over a larger stretch of Canada. Personally i think they need to make the phisics less jank before they add more dlc to snowrunner. Theres alot of things that dont make any sense with the phisics engine The cranes are weak, the driving ai causes almost as many problems as it aims to fix, vehicle weight placements are very unrealistic, a comparatively small rock or even a relatively tiny bump can eat your suspension, ect I love the game but it desperately needs some tlc

I heard that this expiditions is more like a spinoff so it is not the next "snowrunner." I myself would like to see a 'sandrunner' as that is really the only type of significant terrain we haven't we haven't experienced a lot of. I don't mind if its similar to snowrunner, where we get different types of landscapes in the dlcs, just so long as its gets many details we dont have in SR that MR has,and possibly even more

I think that the guys behind Snowrunner will not go for new game. I think they will go Euro/American Truck simulator way. They have powerful engine that will run trough both games. They will pump both games with seasons. It is much better way to grow community then to go back to beginning risking to get negative feedback with no good reason.

Honestly I was late to the party with snowrunner. I have completed the 3 main maps and now just starting on the DLC’s and there are a lot of them. And I’ve already dumped so many hours in to this game. I love it but I’m overwhelmed with the amount of content I still would like to complete. If this was the end of snowrunner then that would be totally okay by me. It’s not exactly lacking in maps and tasks by this point

And have only just got seasons 9 and 10 haven't even tried 10 at all yet but just got the zikz 566a in 9 and it is fun with alot of character,also the maps have some brilliant terrains, looking forward to seeing what they do with expeditions... looks like it could be a very marmite game for mud/snowrunner fans.

@@Lilvil94 Mods are fun, well worth trying. Even the absolute best can get stuck and the better ones have a variety of addons to utilise. Some of which keep the 'realism'. No harm in trying a few!

@ATribeCalledCars I recently tried mods and was enjoying them however can't have many at all on ps5 and it kept crashing ,also even with no mods at all most of the mods I wanted were too large to enable rng3r armoured truck pack,zentos and mpv were all culprits of this, currently downloading snowrunner to steam but unfortunately my pc badly needs upgrading so won't be the experience it should be ,however it does meet minimum requirements and recommended on everything but my processor (ryzen 3200G) so hopefully it won't be too bad ,I'll be happy if it doesn't crash ,can handle slightly poorer graphics aslong as it's playable ,fingers crossed 🤞

It makes sense to rewrite the whole game if they want to implement a tons of new game mechanics and use the the part doing the driving - which is the main thing - in the new game. Pactching the old one is probably not worth doing, because even just introduce water caused bugs and they have to release a dlc about fire without actual fire (it was great, but still). Meanwhile keeping Snowrunner alive can't be that hard, they can probably put together a dlc with their eyes closed by now, even modders doing a decent job for free.

They need to step it up with the maps there putting out with the dlc's on snowrunner tho just don't seem as good as the early dlc maps so if we do get a year 4 pass hopefully there not spending to much time on the new game to give snowrunner the detail it needs

If theres no hauling, i dont want it. Scouting was for opening maps for tasks, then contracts, if scouting was all there was, it loses its multifacited gameplay. And loses purchases. 🤷‍♂️

No one has said it's a spin-off though, which is a big part of it. I would assume Saber will avoid that because it would affect sales. Selling a half game for full money, if that's what happens, is not a good look.

I've tried to play Snowrunner several times but couldn't because it feels like playing with toys. Simple car physics and weird gearbox kill the experience.
