What Sam says here is important. However, everyone should still be wary of people with high body counts. Because the more partners people have had intimacy with, the harder it is for them to pair-bond.

Do you not see the contradiction here? Beware of high body counts? There is no such thing as Born Again Vaginas. Baptism into Christ does not negate a husband and wife's marriage, even though they are new creations in Christ. Guess what? Baptism does not negate a woman's promiscuous past, even though she is a new creation in Christ. Baptism in Christ makes it so that no man can use the Law to condemn us to death. We have Grace by the Blood of Christ, to learn from our mistakes and do them no more. That's what it means to be a Christian, a new creation in Christ. While a person is renewed in Christ, we still carry the lessons of our past, leading to a deeper understanding of ourselves and our faith.✨ 🤔What are your thoughts?

@@jvo8068 If my comment got deleted or not, I'll say it again, your not VIRGIN AGAIN regardless if you're Christian or not, that's not a biblical ideology at all and it's NOWHERE mentioned in the old testament. Deuteronomy 22 is clear that in the old testament you were allowed to cancel the wedding if the bride was not a virgin.
@Lana-ur1xj3 күн бұрын
He clearly said if you had sex with a person who was a virgin then you had to marry them, meaning the first partner you slept with you had to wed them. Deuteronomy 22:28-29 “if a man meets a virgin who is not yet betrothed, and he seizes her and lies with her, and they are found, then the man who lays with her shall give the father of the young woman must fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife, because he has violated her. He may Not divorce her all his days.”

If you find a got person and they have a past you should EVER throw it in their face as if they still need to pay for it through you. All you do is ruin your relationship. I’ve seen this happen to people and it’s so sad. It’s the reason why you shouldn’t even ask details about their past or give yours. You only need to know certain things and leave the rest alone. You can actually cause a person to lose faith by acting like a pharisee by trying to shame them. Too many people fall into severe jealousy too over their spouses past and this is a shame. Keep your past in the past and don’t keep old items or letters or pics of them unless you were married to them and have children together. Other than that you don’t need to keep the past alive by hanging on to memories in the form of material items. God makes us new and to continue to grow in Christ you have to release yourself of the past

Okay Sam made a good point in the old testament and about the state of the world, but Sam...come on, even if you are a new creation you still have consequences for your past. Paul killed Christians and the people were first afraid of him when he became converted, he still had a past that Paul himself brought up. Yes, if a woman has lost her virginity she can be a new creation and saved, but she is NOT a born again virgin, that's some nonsense and isn't biblical. And please read 1 Corinthians 7, that will clear a lot up about marrying non virgins, simply put you're not supposed to. Nobody comes to Christianity and is suddenly a virgin again, not to mention you need to be objective and realize someone with multiple partners is NOT marriage material and you will be compared constantly to past partners whether you bring up her past or not. And ever asked what if she has a child from a previous ex and wants to marry? Nobody in their right mind unless they truly don't mind it would sign up a marriage covenant for something like that. Sam you need to re-read the scriptures in this case and you need to get with the times, hooking up is now becoming normal and that's NOT what a virgin man would want to marry when he's waited all of his life. This type of mentality is what excuses women for their poor choices in life. Realize even if you commit murder, you can be saved but you STILL have to be held responsible for your actions and your sins, nobody gets a free pass from their past from others, God forgives and can forget but people wont. Jesus Christ is coming back for a pure bride, it's not wrong for men to want the same in their wife especially if he's a virgin himself. I'm a virgin, I won't be marrying a non-virgin and you can save yourselves the trouble if you do the same.
