Peter asked John to ask Jesus who was the betrayer. John whispered the question to Jesus and Jesus, whispered the answer to John. The others didn’t hear the answer. That’s the best response I’ve ever heard. It came from Bishop Fulton J Sheen,a soon to be Saint, of the Catholic Church.

Also depends on what you mean by Satan entered his heart. If it was demonic possession then Judas wouldn’t be responsible for his actions taken while possessed. But if it was just convincing Judas to do evil, then he did it off his own accord, even if demonically influenced by Satan. From all accounts Judas made the decision, and is held responsible for it.

If you sin you are a servant of Satan. Satan doesn't need to posses you to control you. Obsession is also seen as form of possession. In which case no demon possesses one but ideas. If that is the case with Judas. Judas might well gave been the first in a long line of heretical idea men. In our age the most known of these men are: Luthor, Robespierre, Napoleon, Nietzsche, Marx, Hitler, Stalin, Soros e5c etc

A demonic spirit cannot love where Jesus lives. So if Judas was possessed, Jesus The Christ was already not in his heart and belief anymore. He would be judged for that as he wasn’t saved (in such case)

Ravi's speeches enriched my biblical knowledge. There was a point that he spoke of sexual sexual abuses too much. Then came his cancer. . . I questioned how such a man's body attacked itself. I believe it’s because the Devil is called an “Angel of Light” Judas did not manifest any traits of traditional demon possession. He was in “hiding” so to speak. If the devil showed up as the Great Red Dragon (Rev 12) that would not fool anyone.

This is proof that God created a universe ready for occupancy and gave man total freedom, just like he gave angels total freedom to choose whether they want to be part of it or not. What Jesus did was to show how one can become part of his universe. Judas had a front row seat. Same opportunities Satan had earlier. Satan refused to accept the terms laid out by God, thus, he will be be kicked out from God's universe by being meted the second death at a certain future time. *“Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: Matthew 25:32-33, 41 (NKJV)* *Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. Revelation 20:14 (NKJV)* Of course God is continuing his search for more bodies to occupy his universe and Satan is trying his best to stop it because of self preservation. *For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels of God in heaven. Matthew 22:30 (NKJV)* *And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. Matthew 24:14 (NKJV)* One can clearly show why men who had front row seats to observe why there is eternal life refuses to accept it and why sharers of Godly information are the favorite targets of those who rejected it. Scriptures clearly show God's character of wanting his universe be occupied by beings who appreciate it.

Judas was chosen because of what he was. Iscariot was his surname because of where he was from. A place in Edom(named after Esau). Judas was the only jew among the twelve. That's why he was chosen, because he was a jew, to fulfil the work that he did. As Jesus rightly told them... "You are of your father, the devil ." 2nd Kings 16:5-6 KJV. Where is Elath, the origin? Genesis 33:16 KJV. Where is Sier, the origin? Who are Esua/Edom, the origin! The King of the jews, Herod the great, was an Edomite jew, So was Judas Iscariot.
