This was a much appreciated perspective. I have been married 25 years. My husband and I have a policy of only hanging out with friends of the opposite sex, if the other spouse I'd present. That way you don't have to end friendships, but that marriage is still protected because the other partner is present in that friendship

But the issue is that many who claimed to be in similar religion as yours even at my workplace go as far not only make friends but also start affairs/cheating with this married spouses either with the male or female without the knowledge of their spouses.The same applies to other people of other religion or background.Quite alot of people pretend.

First thing a woman must consider is whether or not she is simply attempting to control her husband. Jezebel can justify anything. If your husband already has zero female friends, and zero male friends-and it is all because you found faults with each and every one of them-then you are the problem, not society.

This is good. Thank you. My husband is meeting a female friend for lunch tomorrow. And I never really like her or their friendship. I know she has had affairs with men before. I am cordial to her when I have seen her. My husband thinks it’s silly that I would even question this friendship and rolls his eyes at me and accuses me of being jealous. Then I feel bad. But this woman has a track history and there’s just something about her I was never comfortable with. And I know if I went out to lunch with former male coworkers alone he’d probably make remarks and say he’s only kidding. I just feel like I can’t even talk to him about it without him making me out to be crazy wife who is jealous

I am à woman, and I have an affinity with men and not women. I flew on my career and was the only woman in my entire department. I was the first executive woman in the whole organization at that time. When at parties, I usually stay with the male side to talk. If I had a husband who would be bothered by that, it would be horrible because it would force me not to be me.
