Bryan Adams is an incredible singer and songwriter. So many hits. So many gems. If you want the classics, he has so many! Here's a handful of classics that I would suggest next: Summer of 69, Heaven, Cuts Like a Knife, Everything I Do (I Do It for You), The Only Thing That Looks Good on Me Is You, Heat of the Night, Straight from the Heart, Run to You, Please Forgive Me, Somebody, Thought I Died and Gone to Heaven, It's Only Love (with Tina Turner), Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman?, etc.

One of his best. Bryan is awesome live and puts on a great show. Just a great rocking song. This was released in 1984 at the height of his popularity and off of his iconic album RECKLESS, which is incredible from beginning to end. Not one bad song on the album and just well produced & written. He was 25 years old when he wrote this song.

I’ve been listening to Bryan since 1980. He hit it big right out of the gate with a song that he cowrote with his songwriting partner, James Vallance, for James’s former band Prism. The song, “Don’t Let Him Know”, from the 1981 album, Small Change, reached #1 in the United States. Another song that he cowrote on that album was “Stay”. THAT song was a foreshadowing of what was to come from Bryan and James. It’s a beautiful ballad.

Bryan Adams and his song writing partner, James Vallance, are among the most successful songwriters EVER! They wrote songs for KISS, and many more besides themselves. Like I said earlier, I have been a Bryan Adams fan since 1980, but his songs got so big that I got sick of hearing him. 🙂 You literally could not turn on the radio without hearing his music for about a 20 year span. I actually am enjoying listening to him again. You can get too much of a good thing. 🙂

If you guys like One Night Love Affair, his song “Somebody” from the same album (Reckless 1984) is actually better IMO :) Yes - Heaven, Run To You, Summer of 69 did way better than “Somebody” on the Top 40 charts, but “Somebody” might be Bryan Adams’ most underrated song of all time.
