120.000 in the US Festival audience. They blew away Judas Priest.

Rik Emmitt, the singer and guitarist, wrote this song for his aunt who was fighting cancer at the time.

This was my concert ever... I've been a major Triumph fan since. Rick Santers is the other guy on guitar. He wrote a few songs for the Sport of Kings album and they invited him out on tour..

Santers helped write one song.

Triumph did incorporate a rhythm guitarist on this live tour which is why you saw four on stage.
@SergioSBloch21 күн бұрын
Yeah Rick Santers was added for this tour. He's a pretty good Canadian guitaris as well.

Great band and one of the very best light shows in the 80s. Rush and triumph were next level when it came to their shows.

Triumph was big here in Canada and also had some pretty good success in the States. The lead singer (Rik Emmitt) was the face of the band , but the drummer also sang lead occasionally , and has a really good voice. If you’ve never seen a drummer play and sing lead at the same time , you should check out their video for the song “Follow Your Heart”. 🔥🔥🔥

An underrated 3 man band from the late 80s was Blue Murder. A Supergroup comprised of three extraordinary musicians. Check out their song Jellyroll.

They definitely weren't underrated they were huge in their time. These guys huge

They actually have an extra guitarist on stage for this performance, but he's not an official member of the group. The bass player is there.

The 1983 live version is better, but i appreciate your reaction to this great song I'd call Triumph a poor man's Rush They probably were a 3 piece when they formed and weren't inspired to so by Rush They were fairly popular in the 80s, not huge but known. They're talented and were on the radio and are still on classic rock stations. They're known as nice guys The best 3 piece bands are Jimi Hendrix Experience & Cream

They did go a little over the top on this live version. The whole thing about this song is that it is leaning heavily on Christian values, if you dissect the lyrics
@nitro_001newman22 ай бұрын
Bro, of course that isn’t the studio version. Mustache complained about the song being too long…hello! That’s what you want from a band when it’s live in concert. You want to see creativity and musicianship. The song is a lot shorter on the album. Triumph wasn’t a big band like Rush, but they’re a good band in their own right. They just don’t have as many good songs like Rush, and a few other things, like a superior drummer & bass player.

Unfortunately for mustache he did not get the brains or the looks in his family.... This guy actually said that fight the good fight does not make his playlist? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
