The song is personal. Taylor sings about her insecurities & anxieties in her public & private life. As an icon who does have such a sway over so many of her fans, she explains that her own anxieties lead to doubting everyone in her life. Each of us has to contend with our own insecurities & anxieties and I think it is something to say that Taylor allows herself to open up and let her fans know that for all of her fame & fortune, she also has her own. She is the anti-hero. Taylor has grown so much in her writing and while she has always written from a personal standpoint, she is getting far deeper into it. It isn't just about bad relationships, albeit there are a lot of songs derived from those. I give her credit.
