This was Michael's last #1 hit. The production was by Rodney Jerkins a.k.a. Darkchild, who was on a roll making hits for Destiny's Child, Brandy, Monica, Whitney Houston, to name a few. The guy who goes into the room with Marlon Brando was his son, Miko Brando, who was one of Michael's best friends.

This is my top MJ song of all time!!! Some of my top music friends have never heard it & are blown away when I play it for them- PLUS bass is my favorite instrument! 💖💖💖 I never saw the Vid until much later after I had heard the song.

Off of the INVINCABLE album, released in 2001, which produced this hit but also had some amazing songs - "Butterfly", "2000 watts", "Break of Dawn". Sadly, this is where you see the man beginning to show signs of decline due to his addiction to sedatives & propofol. His vocals are still excellent and his dance moves, while good are clearly copies of previous moves from other songs. He looks frail to me in this video. Check out a song by MJ that was released after he died. It was written in the 80's but was never released until after his death off of his MICHAEL album - "Behind the Mask" is an excellent song and video.

It's doesnt have an r&b vibe. It IS r&b lol! Michael started as an R&B artist and have many r & b albums , solo and with his family. He didn't really go more pop until thriller but half of that album is r&b. They reason why he did that was because he kept getting cheated or of awards and acknowledged because he was seen as just a black artist. There is a new documentary that just came out called Thriller 40. You should check it out. You will learn a lot about him and why he did what he did. Also, always do the long version Mj's videos. They are mini movies. And YES he was in control of every aspect of his music when it came to beats etc. After his family left motown they began to write their own songs and and he continued writing a lot of his songs when he went solo. Usually half the album
