In today's Europa Universalis IV (EU4) video we will be giving maximum technology to Ryukyu, the small island nation in the Japan Region, and seeing how they handle it. The Three Mountains is an achievement that a player can get as Ryukyu by conquering the whole world, can the AI do it with these buffs?

I think an interesting variation on this concept would be to give certain nations a -50% to -75% discount on a tech tree instead of just max tech right off the bat. That would guarantee they are always well ahead of time, but perhaps not guarantee a win over even the largest nearby neighbors. We could even have a battle of the tech trees, by giving some nations that discount on military, and others discounts on admin or production, then we can see which really matters the most.

Even though Ryukyu ended as number 1 great power. I was incredibly disappointed that they barely expanded past China. And don’t even fully own there home region just establish frankly useless tributaries.
