It was also the first game that really hooked me and made me want a switch so bad. 3 days after Sonic Manias release (August 18, 2017) I finally got it and the switch. I'm pretty sure that Nathaniel Bandy made a mistake 2:35 As you see here the grabber grabed sonic and exploded but Nathaniel got no points 2:50 but here tails got grabed and Nathaniel thought that the grabber survived but that's probably not true because if the Grabber grabs you and explodes you don't get points but you get 200 points if you kill the Grabber originally, so it is a possibility that the Grabber died

Since you loved doing that so much, here's a suggestion: you should route the game with minimum points, like Ceave's old New Super Mario Bros. U videos. No character restrictions, all cheese allowed, just whatever you have to do to get the minimum score. It sounds like playing sonic & tails was the main reason the challenge was so annoying, so if you remove that restriction I think it will be a lot more fun.
