If you're gonna keep branching out, there's another SEGA game I think you'd get a kick out of: Yakuza: Dead Souls. It's a cash-in zombie game from what's normally an emotionally complex crime drama series, but it's loads of fun, and if you've got a PS3, or if your PC can handle emulating it, I'd say give it a go for a challenge run. I'm not sure how actually possible this is, but I'd be interested in seeing if you can beat the game without guns (sans the tutorials ofc). Guns are the main way to kill the zombies, but you can also pick up objects in your environment and bash their heads in with those. There isn't a way to do hand-to-hand combat, so without guns, you'd be left with objects, and maybe grenades if you want. But yeah, great video as always! Love your stuff Mawde! :D

I've never played a Super Monkey Ball game before but I'm surprised that 6-7 was completed on such a slim margin even when played normally. It seems like they designed the stage to be barely completable with the slowest character intentionally. Either way, great job with this challenge. Much like with the Sonic and the Black Knight challenge, this still had many impressive moments even if a single part was a hard "no" for the particular challenge.

Nice to see you branching out from strictly Sonic content. Even if you stick to Sega content, that’s still a lot more games to consider challenges for. I would ask if you’d be interested in counting Atlus in that purely out of curiosity, but the SMT fans seem to have that wheelhouse covered (Etrian Odyssey challenge maybe?). Sorry, rambling; just nice to see you branch out a bit. Looking forward to whatever you do next, be it Sonic, not Sonic, or maybe even not Sega. Okay, uh…gonna go off topic here. A small thought’s been growing in my mind recently: I personally grew up with and love Bomberman Generation, and if I made videos like you do, I could easily make a tier list of every level like you did with Shadow. The proper levels might need some extra thought, but so many bosses are easy S and A tiers (and a couple are D, maybe E, but most are positive). The main issue is the “if I made videos” part: I don’t, and I have none of the equipment or software I would need to do so (think the most limiting factor is only having a crappy built in laptop mic). Really just spitballing here, sharing something I personally would want to make if I had the time. I totally recommend playing Bomberman Generation at least, that game really holds up.

Ah yes, Super Monkey Ball. The other Sega franchise involving animals rolling to the goal as quickly as possible and is argued by many to have fallen off a cliff in 2006. Quality video, as always If you need a video idea, I have one for another game altogether. I've become obsessed with the video game series Prototype. Is it possible to beat it without doing any unnecessary consumption? By that I mean you need to consume a tank pilot and a helicopter pilot to continue the story, but other than that, as story Alex Mercer seems to be much more benevolent than gameplay Alex, in the first game at least.

This looks neat! I might have a fun challenge for you if you don't mind: "Is it possible to beat Shadow 05 by being a Pacifist?" Meaning, you CANNOT commit kills, nor damage, at an enemy (except bosses because requirement). Weapons are allowed, but can only be used for good acts for murderless missions, such as Glyphic Canyon's Dark Mission. You can't throw any death-causing objects at an enemy, except the Heal Pods since they heal, not hurt. Vehicules are also allowed, as long as there's no grand theft auto. Only level hazards or other enemies can cause kill via some circumstances. Partners are disabled because it could be considered assistance. It's quite hard to think about. Lol.

If we're talking individual endings and not the Last Story, then bosses aren't an issue either. On the semi-hero path, the only bosses you fight are Eggman mechs, and Shadow doesn't kill Eggman in the ending

Were you thinking about Pokemon Stadium in the service or from physical copy? You can't transfer in the service version , so the only challenge is just in finishing at all. But for the original , a team of trained normal types. With the rule of "only one of a specific combination type" , allowing only one flying type.

Now that I think about it, I should probably elaborate on the challenge, since again, it's a rather unknown game. Henry hatsworth is a game about an old British man going on an adventure to beat up monsters from an alternate dimension to get tons of gold. And part of the way he fights those monsters is by hitting them a bunch, and sending them to the puzzle realm on the bottom screen. Despite the name, it's less puzzle platformer, and more Mario with puzzle league on the bottom screen. Anyways, the puzzle screen does a whole lot, it actually gets rid of defeated enemies, it uses items, it even powers your tea meter, which gives you more hearts, and eventually gives you a giant robot. But since I think that puzzles are stupid, and since my touch screens broken, let's just not use it. The only reason that that's even a challenge is, even with it getting rid of enemies and using items and stuff, it mostly has to do with hearts, as hearts are an item that can be activated. So basically, if you get hit, it's more or less permanent. And also there are some block that might need to be activated on the top screen from completing a puzzle. Point is, it's basically a no hit run where you can't use items, and as a guy who's playing the game normally, in both normal and hard mode, it's already difficult as it is
