That's right, I requested this video. 😀 Lartoria definitely has options to start from zero (Rising Mud Rain, Habetrot, Koyanskaya NP, etc) but most of them are wonky or take way too much effort than most players care to do. Still she's a solid farming option and it's only really been with the advent of Melusine and inability to capitalize on her charge after NP much that she's begun to be outclassed. Given that lalter just got a buff today, how would you fix lartoria? Thank you all for watching and let me know if you have any questions about the units ever!

How I'd personally fix/buff Lartoria (not realistic, but making her interesting in connection to Camelot Singularity) S1: Chaotic and Evil Alignment Buffs last 3 turns instead of 1 S2: Charisma B -> Call of the Round Table - 20% ATK for all allies', "Round Table Knight" allies' 20% NP Damage, 30% Crit star generation rate and Crit DMG for 3 turns S3: Protection of World's End EX -> EX+ - 1 time Guts, 5 turns and DEF +30% 5 turns (in addition to previous 50% gauge and debuff cleanse). Cleanse now also activates first. NP: Rhongomyniad A++ -> EX - Added effect: Applies' "Round Table Knight" to all allies' 3T (Activates first) Increases own Buster performance according to the number of Round Table Knights on the field (from 30-50%) for 3T (Activates First). New Normal Damage Effect: Ignores DEF. NP Damage increase as normal. Biggest Buff: Lion King outfit and the option to have the horse removed in all ascensions (including said outfit). Ever since playing Camelot I have felt like Lartoria should be strong around Round Table Knights, so with these ideas I played into that line of thinking.

Another way for Lancer Artoria to use Black Grail is by adding Ms Crane into the usual Double Koyan + Oberon comp. At 200% OC Lancer Artoria will refund 30% after NP, which is enough to perform the NP spam until wave 3 She would still deal less damage than Melusine if she also uses this setup, so an ideal upgrade for Lancer Artoria is to give her an NP upgrade with another additional effect. Maybe something like a stackable 10-20% NP damage up for 3 turns before NP, or a 30% NP damage up for 1 turn like Gilgamesh

How's Rising Mud Rain wonky? Isn't it the same as some characters working better with Black Grail? They are both permanent CEs. That being said, the fix is obvious. She's a char entirely built on dumping out her NP as many times as possible... without an interluded NP. Just give her that and maybe a self NP buff on activation and presto, amazing again.

If I were to buff things in Lartoria's kit it would either be an NP upgrade with an added normal effect of increased NP damage either for 1 turn or 3 turns depending on how much they wanted to push her or for skills buff charisma to add NP damage unless they wanted to buff her manaburst skill again to make the 50% buster buff multiple turns in length though it looks far less elegant than buffing a basic charisma in 2023 with no additional effects on it. Don't really need to buff her 3rd skill since it is a 50% battery with a cleanse/fine and if they want to give her NP damage up it's best paired with the charisma skill like Gilgamesh archer last year getting NP damage up on his charisma as well as a star bomb.

My favorite Artoria is Lalter, but I can't wait for a ticket to get guaranteed Lartoria . Not only do I collect the entire collection of saberfaces, but she is also a very good AOE lancer. Plus really high-quality NP animation .

Honestly, this is one of the only cases where giving a 30% charge would actually be really meaningful. Hear me out, they buff the carisma, let's say they only add 30% charge to the skill. Now Lartoria has 80% charge just from her own skills, meaning that, with the append she can now farm with BG even without Oberon. It would be something among the lines of: T1: she uses all her charges. T2: you use both 50% charges from Koyanskaya. T3: thanks to the overcharge, Lartoria starts with 20%, you pop all of her skills and she gets to 100% BY HERSELF. She basically becomes into a 100% charger.

As a relatively new player, I appreciate that I can make her loop so easily without alot of the support mainstays. I've pulled her, and I have got plans to use her with Shakespeare and Chen Gong with a 50% charge CE. The plan is to have Chen Gong NP with Lartoria refunding her 30% charge on turn one. From here, Use both of Waver's 10% charge skills and her own 50% refund to get to 100% again. Finally, you can then use the rest of Waver's charge skills plus a 50% charger support to finish the job. Chen Gong is Free Gacha. William is Free Gacha. You can get a Waver from Aniversary. The only luck you really need is getting CEs, since Chen Gong needs either a Kaliedoscope or Maxed Imaginary Numbers to get 100% charge, and I pulled a Kaliedoscope. The only pain point for me is getting Lartoria's charge and append skills to max.

I lucked out and got NP5 Eresh relatively cheaply so she is definitely my Buster Lancer go to girl. Doesn't hurt that she's absolutely adorable either :)

So this is coming from a perspective who finds more personal value in CQs and don't care about 3T farming metas so feel free to take that bias into account on my experience with her but I'd say just a standard NP upgrade would be all I ask for. While the anti-alignment damage mod isn't really bad or anything, it feels like a bandaid to her damage problems which I always find to be an issue with her specifically among the AOE Buster Lancers. In AOE related CQs/story battles I find it to be a very common occurrence for Lartoria to require NPing twice in order to break a health bar, but with units such as Karna and Lalter, a single NP is enough. Or if they they somehow don't, their face card damage is strong enough (thanks to their crit buffs) to finish off whatever chip health is left to advance to the next health bar. Of course, there are units that still don't hit as hard as her but they make up for the utility in their kit like Fionn's taunt and party support, Bradamante/Parvati's stuns etc, but Lartoria is a pure damage dealer and she just doesn't do that very well. Also on her Ignore Invul on NP, in my experience it's really difficult to take advantage of it in budget teams where it's trickier to top her NP up. Usually for me when it comes to Sure Hit/Ignore Invul, I find it to be more convenient on a skill rather than the NP (if I don't use a Pierce Invul CE). Speaking of anti trait mods, I kind of don't really hold them in high regard over time mostly because of the lack of content in this game. Like yeah sure Lawful/Neutral/Chaotic/Good/Balanced/Evil are not uncommon traits to encounter, but finding the content where they would be applicable with the appropriate class advantage becomes really annoying. When Lalter got her Charisma buff, I personally did not mind the additional special mods the skill got (I did find it boring though) because she was pretty solid already (unless people don't like the 20% battery and wants more), but Lartoria is in a serious need of a damage upgrade and that anti alignment mod does not help. Oh and my favourite AOE Lancer? That would be Fionn. Like yeah sure Percival outclasses him, but that does not take away the fact that Fionn was already a good AOE Lancer before he even released.

I got Lartoria last year and have been patiently waiting for the release of the buster supports to grail her to 100 and I will also be picking up NP2 from the anniversary ticket. Melusine and Eresh may be stronger but I have no intentions of getting them so that doesn't matter to me

I mean with melusine being able to farm with BG, it's not even a competition. Just raise your melusine's np level if you can and you have one of the best ST and AOE damage (Arts&Buster). She's also easy to use. Plus she doesn't have any rank ups yet, meaning she will still get better in the future 😊 Also even with rising mud ce, romulus quirinus can outdamage lancer artoria with just the new bunyan ce

I mean that's 'if' Melusine gets buffs. Her kit is still incredibly powerful almost 2 years after release in the same vein as Arjuna alter where many years later and AA still has no buff, but Melusine is better than AA in terms of kit because she black grail loops while AA does not. Her steroids are obscene as a result with Oberon and even in kit she has 40% attack up in a buster system that lacks attack up buffs on Koyanskaya and Oberon so that 40% attack up goes a long way with all the buster and NP damage up steroids present.

Personally, being a hardcore Lartoria simp I wish they (Lasengle) would make a continuation about her Interlude like a part 2 where it'll strengthen her Noble Phantasm :D

Lartoria was my first SSR and carried me through okeanos and beyond. If I were to buff Lartoria I'd do it in one of two ways. I'd give her charisma skill a similar buff that Saber Artoria has which turns her cards into Buster, or I'd give her a star dump and crit damage. In my opinion and experience her kit as it is now is is ok in most situations but not great at any one thing. A jack of all trades. Giving her more immediate burst damage with the card change to buster, or longer term damage with crit and star dump gives her more value for what it's worth.

As a proud owner of an NP2 Lartortia, I'd honestly would also buff her charisma in lieu with how other ones have been buffed. Besides being 20% at max level, and this is something I feel she needs to do is either, a party wide OC for one or two stages and a self 3 turn Buster Up by 20%. I feel another problem Lartoria has is the lack of sustained damage.

After Mordred got her 3Attack,3turn 50%Buster and 20% Attk up for 3 turns , she will get 100%Buster and 40% attk up with Double Vitch CD Skill . Lancer Artoria , Lancer Artoria Alter and OG Seiba needs to get more buster buffs tbh . OG Seiba Charisma 1st Skill 18% is lackluster hoping they buff this skill soon

I'll drop my buff idea here, why not. It’s a rather broken farming buff and still a really strong buff outside of farming. Np buff: Rhongomyniad A++ -> Rhongomyniad A++ ~ EX Buffed modifier, 1 stage, 1 time np overcharge for party (activates first), increase attack and defense for party by a flat 20% (activates first) This is a rather monstrous buff as stated above. It turns her into the best neutral farmer outside of niches, hitting 486k damage per enemy on wave 3 (388k wave 1 and 396k wave 2). The inspiration for this buff is the noble phantasm's defensive properties in fastening layers of the world together as well as its rank and classification changing upon true name release. The attack up and oc up represents this noble phantasm's hidden strength, maybe given after an np interlude. Cheers

They're not giving a buff to an AoE servant that makes them hit like a single target servant wave 1 and 2 on neutral, even Melusine on NP1 at neutral is dealing 90-120K per enemy with limit broken black grail waves 1 and 2 respectively. Almost quadrupling that number is absurd especially when the SSR ticket that we are getting soon is permanent upon completion of Fuyuki/you would see EVERYONE pick Lartoria with such a ridiculous buff that would be the grossest powercreep the game has yet seen besides busted meta ssr supports like Castoria.

Only thing she needs is an NP upgrade. That's the only thing she DESPERATELY needs. Her kit may be basic, but it works for a farmer. Her NP is her weak point and the one thing devs, for some reason, don't want to upgrade.

The issue is that she has lots of wasted charge that does nothing in common setups, so even if she theoretically gets enough charge to 3 turn from 0, she can't (until Rising Mud Rain).

@@flashmozzg Exactly, when you total it all up she does have enough charge to start with black grail to get the most damage, but when you look at how that charge plays out she can't use it effectively to be able to use black grail, which could make the difference between being able to take out the last wave of a node

Man, I'm still on the fence whether or not I wanna use my 6th Anniversary ticket for Lartoria, and this video.... doesn't really help, unfortunately. Mostly because I'm already flooded with a bevy of AoE Lancers, including Ershkigal. Most likely I'll end up using it on her anyway because Storylocked + Waifu, but other recommendations don't make that a sure thing just yet.

if you like lartoria, go for it if you want. but gameplay-wise, i have both eresh and lartoria and i prefer eresh more than lartoria. eresh has better group utility and lartoria feels pretty weak for someone who has mostly a glass cannon kit.

Eresh is objectivilty better in every way but Lartoria is still good. If you want gameplay go for Eresh. For Waifu go Lartoria. Eresh has better team buffs, more damage, survivability, star gen, np gen, better hit counts.

Yeah Ereshkigal was about on par with Lartoria prior to her NP upgrade, but after her NP upgrade Eresh blows Lartoria out of the water unless she gets a buff to her damage somehow either an NP upgrade or buffing her charisma skill. Both are great waifu's though since Eresh is a Rinface and Lartoria is a Saberface. Eresh gets her NP upgrade in a few months on the global server a little bit after Oberon and Koyanskaya of light are released to enable her looping.
